Outside linebackers coach Greg Gasparato recently left the Cincinnati staff to become the new defensive coordinator for Jon Sumrall at Troy.
To fill the opening, Scott Satterfield is reportedly bringing in a Group of Five coordinator.
Matt Zenitz tweets that the Bearcats are expected to hire Georgia State defensive coordinator Nate Fuqua as their new outside linebackers coach.
Fuqua spent the last six seasons with the Panthers as their defensive play caller.
In addition to calling the plays, Fuqua coached the outside linebackers at Georgia State as well.
Before spending the last several years on the Georgia State staff, Fuqua served as the defensive coordinator at Wofford (FCS - SC), where he spent 12 seasons, the last three as defensive coordinator.
The news is the second report of an addition to Scott Satterfield's staff today, as they're also reportedly "zeroing in" on an ACC coordinator as their new offensive play caller.
