Last week wasn't one of our best, as all three of us whiffed on our upset picks. Doug narrowly missed on West Virginia on TCU, Zach missed on Arizona over UCLA, and Scott missed wildly on Western Kentucky over Louisiana Tech. Which means this week we're bound to go 3-0.
Scott: over
Every now and then you simply have to be a Dude.
B.C. and Louisville are both 6-3; but BC is on a two game win streak whereas Louisville just gave it there all; but couldn't hang late with Florida State...and they go to Notre Dame next. I'm thinking Addazio's guys don't get Louisville's best this weekend and find a way to pound out a victory. Addazio's offense will see Louisville's formidable rushing defense as a challenge and they will pound the rock. Pays off in the 4th quarter as BC, a 3 point home dog, finds a way to win when they need to.
Doug: over
Oklahoma gave up 33 in a win over West Virginia, 37 in their loss to TCU, and 31 in their other loss to Kansas State. That doesn't give me a whole lot of faith in the Sooner defense stopping Baylor's explosive offense (averaging over 50 ppg), and for that reason, and basically that reason only, I'm going with the Bears here. Their defense will get a stop or two when needed. Vegas has Baylor at +6.5 in this one.
Zach: over
I just have a feeling that Urban won't be denied this shot at revenge. I see J.T. Barrett making the plays necessary against a 2014 Michigan State defense that wasn't as good as the 2013 version.
