Dan Hawkins: Asked by the Idaho Statesman if he ever plans to coach again, Hawkins said, “It’s an interesting profession. I don’t know. I’ll see if there’s somebody that believes I can be a head coach. To some degree, once you are a head coach people don’t see you as a coordinator or a position coach. This has been fun. I also do this Sirius radio deal. So it’s fun. They’re great. Those guys are all football fans, too. That kind of keeps you in it. It’s not nearly as stressful as coaching, so we’ll see.” Hawkins currently works as an analyst for ESPN and SiriusXM.
Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech Football is looking for a recruiting graduate assistant that will be highly motivated, great communicator, and at the forefront of new technological skills including such areas as social media, graphic design such as Photoshop while also having a foundation in football. This person should aspire to be a NFL Scout, NFL front office staff or a college Director of Player Personnel in their career future. This position will be involved with recruiting visits both unofficial and official, mail correspondence processes, help with creating and maintaining prospect database, prospect academics and creative ideas in terms of all aspects of recruiting process. Will report to Director of Player Personnel. Need to be admitted into Virginia Tech Graduate School on your own merit. Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): Associate head coach Todd Ivicic has been suspended and "will not be involved in any team functions for the remainder of the season" per a statement from the university.
Lane College (D-II - TN): Lane College is now accepting applicants for their head coaching position. Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Three to five years of college coaching experience, including effective leadership, communication, and recruiting skills also preferred. Triumphant Sports JUCO All American Bowl Game: The 4th Annual Triumphant Sports JUCO All American Bowl Game will be held at The Stadium - Matt O. Hanhila Field, which is located in the northwest corner of the main campus of Glendale Community College, in Glendale, Arizona, on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with all pre-game activities beginning at 11:00 A.M and kick-off at 1:15 pm. The game will include 85 of the nation’s top JUCO football players (Team California vs Team USA). A JUCO bowl game champion will be crowned when the JUCO All-Americans from Team California will face off with TEAM USA who represents JUCO athletes from various JUCOs throughout the rest of the country. All coaching staffs are cordially invited to attend the bowl game from Wednesday, December 10 through Saturday, December 13, for practice sessions and the game. Lewis and Clark (D-III - OR): The school has announced that head coach Chris Sulages has stepped down. Sulages has served as the head coach of the program since 2006.

Louisville: Per ESPN, Bobby Petrino is due to receive a $500,000 bonus for the teams APR rate for 2013-2014. Petrino was hired back on January 9th earlier this year, but the large bonus is due to a dip in APR score during the last coaching change.
Chattanooga (FCS - TN): Cornerbacks coach B.J. Hogan has accepted the head job at Cardinal O'Hara High School in Philadelphia, the school has announced. A 2001 O'Hara grad, Hogan will fly to Philadelphia on Monday to introduce himself the players and staff members. The Mocs, currently 7-3 and in first place at 6-0 in the SoCon, conclude the regular season on Nov. 22.
Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Nicholls State athletics director Rob Bernardi confirmed to the Tri-Parish Times that Tulane co-defensive coordinator Lionel Washington has interviewed for the Colonels' vacant head coaching job. On what Nicholls State is looking for in its new coach, Bernardi said, "We want someone who is just a fanatical recruiter. We want someone who understands our area and appreciates the fact that our area is so talent rich."
Bowie State (D-II - MD): Linebackers coach Charles Gant has been let go.
