Coastal Carolina: Antwan Floyd has been named director of sports performance. Floyd served as the associate director of sports performance at Houston the past two seasons.
Prairie View A&M: Prairie View A&M: Prairie View A&M University is seeking applicants for a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, designing conditioning programs; guiding student athletes through a regimen of exercises to optimize performance and decrease potential injuries; assisting with specific sport conditioning programs; teaching proper weight lifting, speed, agility and conditioning techniques; Minimum Salary or Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience Preferred Education Requirements Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sports Science or related field Preferred Experience Requirements: Previous collegiate strength and conditioning supervisory experience. Minimum Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with training student-athletes. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, proficient in instruction, assessment, evaluation, and supervision of multiple weight-lifting techniques, possess the ability to physically demonstrate proper exercise techniques and has knowledge of the use and maintenance of fitness equipment. Minimum Education Requirements A Bachelors' degree Required Certifications/Licensures Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA)/Strength and Conditioning Certification (SCCC) and/or Certification - National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)/Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) certification required.
