Northern State University (D-II - SD): Northern State University invites applications for an offensive coaching intern position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to on the field coaching, game planning, film break down, and assisting with recruiting. Compensation includes a small stipend, some meals possible and extra opportunities are available. This is considered an entry-level position. Buffalo: Head coach Lance Leipold has signed a one-year contract extension through 2020.

Case Western Reserve (D-III - OH): Case Western Reserve has one open intern position. Looking for someone with either defensive line or running backs coaching experience, but will hire the best candidate available. Recruiting experience at a high academic institution is a plus. Scoop him up:Travis Taylor is currently an intern at South Carolina in Student Athlete Development. Taylor's duties include assisting in the creation of new events and ideas that would benefit student-athletes with life after sports, and he also provides academic coaching and advising support to a caseload of student-athletes from Men’s/Women’s Soccer. Taylor has co created, and helped with the production of events such as Find Yourself Know Yourself: Reaching Success after College. Prior to joining the University of South Carolina Athletics, Taylor served as a graduate assistant at North Carolina Central University under head coach Jerry Mack. There, Taylor managed to help organize and create The “Life after Football” program which focused on identity, direction and planning after college. The program also focused on professional dress and interview and resume workshops for preparation of life after the game is over, and Taylor has also helped coordinate recruiting visit and helped with logistics and operational support with team travel. Texas A&M Commerce (D-II): Tim Bleil has joined the staff as running backs and tight ends coach. Bleil previously served as the recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at West Virginia State.

Hutchinson CC (KS): Former ULM tight ends coach Matt Clark has been hired as offensive line coach and run game coordinator, per source.

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): LSU offensive / special teams analyst Alvin Slaughter has accepted the receivers coach position at Northwestern State source tells FootballScoop. Slaughter spent the past three seasons at LSU and is the former head coach Monsignor Pace HS in Miami, FL.

Virginia Military Institute: Klay Killingsworth, who spent the past six seasons coaching the defensive line at Presbyterian College (FCS - SC), has accepted a position on the VMI staff.

Davenport (D-II - MI): Davenport is seeking qualified applicants for two graduate assistant openings. One position will work with defense and special teams and the other will work with offense and special teams. These positions will report to the head football coach and duties will include coaching, recruiting, and academic monitoring. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a MUST. Prospective applicant’s responsibilities would include administrative duties in game week organization and preparation, video breakdown of games and practices, opponent scout, and creating tendency reports. Will have own on-field coaching responsibilities and recruiting area. Compensation includes a salary of $5,000 and full tuition remission. Positions are contingent upon admittance into Davenport University Graduate Programs.
