Missouri Southern: Per source, Hutchinson CC head coach Rion Rhodes, a finalist, has withdrawn from the search process at Missouri Southern.

Point University (NAIA - GA): Per source, Georgia Southern defensive grad assistant Chris Couch will be the new special teams coordinator / linebackers coach at Point.

Houston Texans: The Texans plan to promote quarterbacks coach George Godsey to offensive coordinator per John McClain.

Iowa State: Missouri Western tight ends coach Ryan Olson has joined the staff as an offensive grad assistant working with the offensive line, per source.

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III): Illinois Wesleyan University is seeking a graduate assistant to work with the football program on offense coaching wide receivers. Candidates must be interested in a degree in Kinesiology and Recreation, must have a 3.0 GPA as an undergrad. Send cover letter, resume and references to Travis Rundle at trundle@iwu.edu.

College of Idaho (NAIA): Kyle Greenwood has been hired to coach the receivers at College of Idaho. Greenwod spent last season as a quality control coach / recruiting assistant at Sacramento State last season.

Augsburg College (D-III - MN): Augsburg College is looking for a graduate assistant to coach either WRs or DBs. Coach will also recruit own area and have other administrative duties. Maine: Head coach Jack Cosgrove has announced the additions of Corey Hetherman as defensive line coach, and the promotion of defensive assistant Greg Webster to a full-time position as the defensive backs / safeties coach. Hetherman was the defensive coordinator at linebackers coach at Pace University (D- II - NY) last season, and was at Old Dominion as the defensive run game coordinator / assistant linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator prior to that.

Augsburg College (D-III - MN): Augsburg College is looking for a part-time stipend WR or DBs coach. This is a season position that pays $500 per month and includes no other benefits. The ideal candidate for this position would be local. Southwest Mississippi CC: Offensive coordinator Jamie Everett has resigned after two seasons with the program to spend more time with his family.

Midwestern Prep (Postgrad - IL): Midwestern Preparatory Academy, located 45 minutes Southwest of downtown Chicago, is seeking applicants for additional assistant coaching positions. Preferred candidates will have playing and/or coaching experience at Offensive Line, Tight End and Outside Rush Linebackers. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coaching your own position, residential monitoring of student-athletes, practice and game film breakdown (HUDL). Compensation package includes: $2,000 stipend, housing and meals. Additional income can be made for the successful recruitment of qualified and competitive student-athletes. Valparaiso: Along with the addition of Kurt Mattix (see Saturday's post), head coach Dave Cecchini has now announced the addition of Sami Caygoz to coach the tight ends. Caygoz coached the tight ends at King's College (D-III - PA) last season.

Castleton State (D-III - VT): Former New Hampshire offensive lineman Tucker Peterson has been added to the staff and will coach the offensive line. Offensive coordinator Kevin Trigonis, who coached the offensive line last season, will now oversee all offensive positions.

Carnegie Mellon (D-III - PA): Carnegie Mellon, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is currently accepting applications for a wide receiver coach. For this position we prefer that the candidate have a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of previous collegiate coaching experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, positional skill work, assisting in game planning, video breakdown and analysis with Hudl, as well as recruiting. Hiram (D-III - OH): Hiram has an opening for a volunteer running back coach. This position will assist the head coach in all facets of the sports program including, but not limited to, coaching the running backs, the development and implementation of individual fundamental skills, recruiting and retaining quality young men and athletes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; strong managerial, administrative, interpersonal skills; and computer proficiency. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior playing or coaching experience at the college/university or professional level is preferred. Flexibility is required for scheduled practices and competition during the season. This is a seasonal position with no benefits. First consideration will be given to northeast Ohio coaches.
