New Mexico State: Per source, a few changes are happening at New Mexico State. We understand that running backs coach Sean Johnson has been reassigned to a different department and secondary coach Will Martin has left the program. We hear that offensive grad assistant Matt Christian will coach the running backs. Will update.

Nebraska: Former Oregon State running backs coach Chris Brasfield is joining the staff as director of high school relations.

SEC: Greg Sankey has officially been named the next commissioner of the SEC, as expected. He will officially replace Mike Slive on July 31st. Sankey has been the SEC executive associate commissioner and chief operating officer for the league since 2012. Here's the story.

Vanderbilt: Al Smith, a longtime former front office executive with the Titans organization, is being hired as director of player development, per source. Smith spent the past six years as the President of the NFL Alumni Association's Tennessee chapter.

St. Thomas (D-III - MN): The University of St Thomas has a part time opening for defensive backs / cornerbacks coach. Please contact head coach Glenn Caruso directly via email if interested at caruso@stthomas.edu.

Tennessee: Mike DeBord will make $500,000 annually as part of his two-year deal as the Vols offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, per the Knoxville News Sentinel. Former offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian, who left for the Tampa Bay Bucs quarterbacks job, made $480,000 in 2014.

Holy Cross: Mike Rock, the former Kent State offensive coordinator, has been named offensive coordinator at Holy Cross.

West Virginia State (D-II): West Virginia State is accepting resumes for a defensive line intern coach. Responsibilities include coaching a position group, assisting with all video editing, strength and conditioning, and equipment responsibilities. Earlham College (D-III - IN): Chuck Ehret, who joined the staff last season as offensive line coach, has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

McNeese State: Per source, Russ Gisclair has joined the staff as a defensive quality control coach.

Louisiana-Lafayette: Five offensive coaches on Mark Hudspeth's staff will receive pay raises for the 2015 season according to The Advertiser. Offensive coordinator Jay Johnson's salary will go from $190k to $210k, Reed Stringer (TEs / RC) will make $140k, Mitch Rodrigue (OL) will earn $135k, Jorge Munoz (WR) will bring home $120k and Marquase Lovings (RBs) will make $95k. On the defensive side new defensive coordinator Melvin Smith will make $70k, Levorn Harbin (DL) will make $90k, and Mike Lucas (ILBs) will make $100k. Charlie Harbison, the former Auburn safeties coach who has not officially been announced as part of Hud's staff, is expected to make $80k and have the title of co-defensive coordinator / OLBs coach. Just as a reminder, Hud's deal runs through 2019 and he'll make $1 million in base salary this season.
