Michigan: The Michigan athletic department has reached out to two candidates per two different reports. The Oakland Press is reporting that Central Michigan athletic director Dave Heeke has been contacted to gauge his interest in the position, and ESPN is reporting that Northwestern athletic director Jim Phillips is also a candidate.
NCAA: Former Kentucky, Alabama and Georgia State head coach Bill Curry, CBS legal analyst Jack Ford, Federal Energy Regulation Commission director of investigations Larry Parkinson and former USA Track & Field and LPGA attorney Jill Pilgrim have been appointed to the NCAA's Committee on Infractions.
