Fresno State: Per source, associate director for strength for Red Raider Football Thomas Stallworth has left to become the head strength coach at Fresno State.
Texas Tech: With the departure of Thomas Stallworth (see above), Jeff Earls will take over the associate director of strength and conditioning. Earls is a former strength assistant at Tulane.
Castleton (D-III - VT): Castleton University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Candidates for this position must be highly motivated to pursue a career in the Strength and Conditioning field. Bachelorβs degree required and 3.0 GPA to be admissible to desired graduate program if offered position. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Exercise Science or related field, internship experience in collegiate athletics, and CSCS certification. Toronto Argonauts (Canada): The Toronto Argonauts are currently accepting applications for an internship for the 2016 Canadian Football League season. This full time internship running from the last week of May and continuing until the last week of the season in November will provide the successful candidate with valuable full time experience working in a professional environment. Duties will include helping with the conditioning of injured players during practice, distributing and collecting GPS units before and after practices/games, setting up the weight room prior to training sessions, coaching during strength training sessions as well as collecting and analyzing data as required. Desirable qualifications include a degree in kinesiology, strength and conditioning certification (ie CSCS), coaching experience and football playing experience.
