Widener (D-III - PA): Widener is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant opening. The position will work on offensive side of the ball. The graduate assistant will report to the offensive coordinator and head football coach. Duties will include coaching a position (running backs), recruiting a specific area, academic monitoring, administrative duties, extensive video breakdown of games and practices, as well as opponent scout. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach, offensive coordinator or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the college level is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a MUST. Compensation includes a salary of $5,500 over 10 months and full tuition towards masters. No housing or meals included. East Carolina: ECU is looking to hire a graduate assistant whose primary role will be to aid the offensive and defensive coaches in recruiting. This position reports to the Director of Player Personnel. The Graduate Assistant-Recruiting will provide various duties in analysis, quality control, administrative, organizational capacities, and graphics. In addition, this position will be responsible for bringing the vision of East Carolina University football program to prospective student athletes and fans through graphics and social media. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and admittance into one of the Master’s programs offered by East Carolina University. Candidates must have experience with Photoshop or similar software and must also present a graphic portfolio with at least 10 pieces of work. Stipend and Tuition: A twice-monthly stipend plus in-state tuition (or the value of in-state tuition applied to out-of- state tuition), fees, and books will be paid. Scoop him up:Travis Taylor is currently an Intern at the University of South Carolina in Student Athlete Development. Taylor's duties include assisting in the creation of new events and ideas that would benefit student-athletes with life after sports. Taylor also provides academic coaching and advising support to a caseload of student-athletes from Men’s/Women’s Soccer. During his time at South Carolina, Taylor has co-created and played an integral role with the production of events such as Find Yourself Know Yourself: Reaching Success after College. Prior to joining the University of South Carolina Athletics, Taylor served as a graduate assistant at North Carolina Central University under head football coach Jerry Mack. While there, Taylor managed to help organize and create The “Life after Football” program which focused on identity, direction and planning after college. The program also focused on professional dress and interview and resume workshops for preparation of life after the game is over. Taylor has also helped coordinate recruiting visit and promoted the North Carolina Central brand during recruiting visits and throughout the community. and he also has a sharp knowing of logistics and operational support within athletic teams where he has assisted in team travel logistics. University of Ft. Lauderdale (FL): The University of Ft. Lauderdale is seeking offensive and defensive intern coaches.
