UAB: Adding on to president Dr. Ray Watts' letter from earlier in the week, UAB athletics director Brian Mackin released his own statement, refusing to speculate (or state definitively UAB will play FBS football in 2017 and beyond), Mackin stated, "I firmly believe this approach will lead to the most exciting era in UAB Athletics."
