Sonny Dykes: Last week Dan Wolken of USA Today noted that he understands that Sonny Dykes is looking to leave Cal. Today, Trav Haney of ESPN added to that, saying, "Those who know the program say they would be surprised if Dykes returned in 2016. If there's an opening in his home state of Texas, even at the Group of 5 level, Dykes could get in the mix."

Montana State (FCS): Head coach Rob Ash and the Board of Regents have agreed to a three-year contract extension through July 30, 2018. Ash was in the final year of his previous deal.
