Loyola Maryland: Butler assistant strength and conditioning coach Joey Guzzo has accepted the head strength job at the University of Loyola Maryland.

Gardner-Webb: Gardner-Webb University’s Strength & Conditioning is currently seeking qualified intern candidates for the 2015 Spring semester. Applicants should be interested in advancing their career in collegiate athletic performance. Duties will include assisting and HANDS ON with ALL aspects of the Strength & Conditioning program, including design, implementation, daily set-up/breakdown and facility maintenance. Duration of the internship will be performance based, and will begin immediately. Individuals chosen for the position are subject to university background checks and standard hiring procedures. This is a non-paid volunteer position, requiring a minimum of 20 hours/week, though more hours will be strongly encouraged. Interns will receive experience working at a Division I program, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities and receive college credit if applicable. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should have or be in the pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Northwestern State: Northwestern State University is accepting applications for 1 Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Position. This is a non-paid volunteer position, requiring a minimum of 20 hours/week, though more hours will be strongly encouraged. Cal: The University of California Football Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for a Volunteer Intern for the Winter/Spring of 2015. The internship begins January 19th and ends May 16th. This is an unpaid position, however, the position offers the opportunity for advancement in the field of strength and conditioning through earned future recommendation, along with coaching apparel and the opportunity to eat at daily team meals. The intern that is selected will also accumulate internship hours toward CSCCa Certification under a certified mentor. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with the supervision of the Cal Football team, set up and breakdown for daily strength and conditioning activities, routine maintenance, cleaning and organization of the training facility, as well as the opportunity to gain hands on experience by directing the strength and conditioning program for one Olympic sport, of the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach's choosing. Prerequisites include completion of a Bachelors’ Degree, working toward NSCA or CSCCA certification, along with, preferably, collegiate athletic playing experience. Marshall: The Marshall University Strength and Conditioning Department (Olympic Sports) is seeking motivated individuals to fill 1-2 volunteer coach positions for the Spring 2015 Semester. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Setup, breakdown, and implementation of training programs for 12 intercollegiate teams and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facility. This is an unpaid position, but the candidate will gain critical experience working and learning in a Division I setting. The internship will begin January 6th, 2015 and will end May 8th, 2015. The candidate must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field and be CPR and First Aid certified. Preferred qualifications: CSCS, USAW, SCCC.
