Marshall: The Marshall University Strength and Conditioning Department (Olympic Sports) is seeking motivated individuals to fill 1-2 volunteer coach positions for the Fall 2014 Semester. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Setup, breakdown, and implementation of training programs for 12 intercollegiate teams and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facility. This is an unpaid position, but the candidate will gain critical experience working and learning in a Division I setting. The internship will begin August 18th, 2014 and will end December 12th, 2014. The candidate must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field and be CPR and First Aid certified. Preferred qualifications: CSCS, USAW, SCCC. Stetson: Stetson University Strength & Conditioning is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the 2014-2015 school year. Responsibilities include designing & implementing year-round strength & conditioning programs for select teams at SU (TBD); assisting in the complete training of all teams, student workers, projects, scheduling of teams, cleaning and maintenance of facilities. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in an Exercise Science or related field; CSCS. The SCCC is not required but preferred; current CPR/AED certification. This Position is a 10 month part-time position that offers $15,000 a year and ceu/certification/conference coverage and the CSCCa Practicum and Mentorship for the dedicated entry level strength coach that is seeking this profession as a career path. Stetson University Strength & Conditioning is also seeking Fall and Spring Interns for the 2014-2015 school year. Responsibilities include designing & implementing year-round strength & conditioning programs for select teams at SU (TBD); assisting in the complete training of all teams, student workers, projects, scheduling of teams, cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
