Oregon: Oregon's board of trustees has agreed to a new 6-year deal with athletic director Rob Mullens according to Fox Sports. Mullens' new deal runs through October of 2019 and pays him $700k base salary.
Texas Tech: The College Football Playoff Selection Committee has announced that Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt will replace WVU athletic director Oliver Luck on the selection committee.
