Stetson University: Stetson University Strength & Conditioning is now accepting applications for the position of Professional Intern Strength & Conditioning Coach and Interns for the 2015-2016 summer, fall and spring semesters. Responsibilities include designing & implementing year-round strength & conditioning programs for select teams at SU (TBD); assisting in the complete training of all teams, student workers, projects, scheduling of teams, cleaning and maintenance of facilities. Requirements: Bachelorβs Degree in an Exercise Science or related field; CSCS. The SCCC is not required but preferred; current CPR/AED certification; ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and work with Microsoft Office programs; must have strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, organizational, and strong desire to be a collegiate strength and conditioning coach. This position should desire to accomplish the CSCCa Practicum and Mentorship and is for the dedicated entry level strength coach that is seeking this profession as a career path. These positions are voluntary (no compensation) and require not only time, but financial commitment. During the internship, you will gain D1 experience and knowledge under a NSCA and CSCCa mentor.
