ESPN: The Worldwide Leader is parting ways with college football staffer Joe Schad, per a report from SI. Also, Robert Smith will not be returning. Schad joined ESPN in 2005 and has been on College GameDay, College Football Live, SportsCenter and ESPN.com, while Smith announced he would not be returning to the network in January via Twitter.

St. Lawrence (D-III - NY): Dan Puckhaber, who had been named acting head coach following the departure of Mark Raymond to Williams College (D-III - MA) back in March, has been formally announced as the new head coach of the program moving forward. Puckhaber joined the staff in 2010 as offensive line coach and was promoted to offensive coordinator heading into the 2012 season.

Brevard College (D-III - NC):Brevard is seeking to fill an unexpected open date of September 3rd, 2016. Willing to play home or away vs NAIA or D-III opponent. Please contact coach Jerel Drew at 229.942.1572.

Davenport (D-II - MI): Davenport is seeking qualified applicants for an assistant football coach working with the wide receivers and serving as Davenport University’s equipment / laundry coordinator. This position will report to the head football coach and duties will include coaching, recruiting, and academic monitoring. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with experience coaching or playing wide receiver and also those with experience coaching special teams. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a MUST. Prospective applicant’s responsibilities would include administrative duties in game week organization and preparation, video breakdown of games and practices, opponent scout, and creating tendency reports. Will have own on-field coaching responsibilities and recruiting area. This is a 12 Month Position. Compensation includes a Salary of $30,000 and a Full Benefits package. Kentucky: Defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh has earned a raise and contract extension, per the Courier-Journal. Brumbaugh's new contract will pay him $300,000 annually through June 30th, 2018. His previous deal went through June 30th, 2017 and paid him $250,000.

Louisville: New offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway is making $607,500 per year on a 3-year deal, per the Courier-Journal.

Scoop him up:Marc Yellock spent the last six seasons (2010-2015) as defensive line coach at East Carolina University under former head coach Ruffin McNeill. A four-year letterman at ECU under Steve Logan, Yellock majored in Chemistry. After working a couple years as a lab analyst and analytical chemist, respectively, Marc started on a course, in 2002, which would ultimately lead to fulfilling his dream of becoming a college football coach. Following a one-year stint as linebackers coach at J.H. Rose HS (Greenville, NC) Yellock joined East Carolina University’s staff as a video intern in 2003 and was later promoted to a staff assistant role during 2004 and 2005. Yellock landed the defensive line position at Elon University in 2006. During the summer of 2009, Yellock gained valuable experience as an intern with the New Orlean’s Saints, where he had the opportunity to work with their defensive line and special teams unit. At ECU under Yellock’s supervision, the Pirates defensive line played an instrumental role in earning national rankings during 2013 and 2014. Yellock’s ultimate goal is to return to the game he loves and his passion for coaching it, while investing in players’ individual, academic and athletic success. Minot State (D-II - ND): Minot State is looking to hire a defensive graduate assistant. The position will likely work with the defensive line. Previous collegiate experience coaching or playing is preferred. The job includes coaching a position, recruiting, use of digital editing system, and other administrative duties as assigned by the head coach and / or coordinator. The position will begin August 1st. Compensation includes a stipend and full tuition to Minot State’s graduate school. Candidates must apply and be accepted into the Graduate school to be considered. Independence (JC - KS): Independence CC has a video coordinator position attached to a coaching opportunity. Must have experience with DSVSport or XO's, or be willing to learn. Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Susquehanna University is seeking an assistant football coach (defensive backs assistant). Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching in the secondary. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. West Liberty (D-II - WV): Former West Liberty special teams coordinator Albert Ma'afala has accepted the head coaching job at Kamehameha HS (HI).

Carroll (D-III - WI): Tony Aker has been hired as the new offensive coordinator at Carroll University, per sources. Aker previously served as the passing game coordinator at UW-Stevens Point (D-III).

Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV):Alderson Broaddus University has an open date and is looking for a game on the weekend of September 17th, 2016. We will consider all options. Please contact head coach Denny Creehan at creehandw@ab.edu or at 304-457-6404.

West Georgia (D-II): Cody Kennedy, who had served as the offensive line coach at UNC Pembroke (D-II) last season, has been hired as offensive line coach at West Georgia, per source. Kennedy previously coached the offensive line at West Georgia prior to joining the UNC Pembroke staff, and also has a previous stop at West Alabama as a graduate assistant where he mentored the offensive line.
