Michigan State has a created an impressive video of the Dantonio-era wide receivers (video)

There are no shortage of hype videos circulating the internet, but this one has a distinctly different flavor to it.

While most hype videos aim at creating a specific mindset heading into a game, this one is aimed more at recruiting, and wide receivers in particular.

Since his first season in East Lansing in 2007, Mark Dantonio's Spartan offenses have produced 3 NFL draft picks (2008 - Devin Thomas, 2012 - BJ Cunningham and Keshawn Martin) . At this year's NFL scouting combine, Michigan State was one of only seven programs to have two receivers invited (Tony Lippett and Keith Mumphrey), outpacing programs like Missouri, Baylor, Florida State, and Ohio State (each of which had one receiver invited).

And for every player that was drafted, there were two or three guys (like Keith Nichol or Bennie Fowler) that were productive role players in the Spartan offense.

While many recruits coming out of high school want to play in a wide open spread offense, this video is a great reminder of the production and value in playing in Michigan State's system.

Recruits should love this.
