The hottest debate in the landscape of college football on the verge of its first annual selection of the top four teams in the country for the College Football Playoff is who is more deserving of a spot, Baylor or TCU?
On Mike and Mike this morning, Art Briles made his pitch.
"You know what? What country do we live in? I think it's America." he opened up saying.
"You know, it's always kind fo been the American way. If there's a conflict or a doubt, you put two people in a ring, they fight, there's a winner. Who's the fastest guy? You put 'em on a track and the fastest guy is the guy that you pick."
"That's kind of the way I see it."
Putting TCU ahead of Baylor is just un-American. Plain and simple.
