North Texas: New AD Wren Baker has signed a five-year contract paying him a $375,000 base salary, according to Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle. Baker has a number of performance incentives built into his deal including; a $2,000 bonus if all of UNT's programs post a multiyear score of at least 950 on the NCAA APR, $5,000 if UNT posts a score of 80%-90% on the NCAA graduation success report,. If UNT Goes over 90% on the graduation report, Baker's bonus will be $10,000. Baker will also receive a retention bonus beginning in 2019 starting at $20,000 on August 21st. The bonus increases to $30,000 in 2020, and to $50,000 in 2021.
Appalachian State: Zeke Beam has been named associate AD for strategic communications. He previously served as the assistant AD for media at Charleston Southern.
Missouri: Missouri has appointed Sarah Reesman their interim AD, effective Friday. Reesman has been with the Mizzou athletic department for 23 years and serves as executive associate athletic director / senior woman administrator.
