A head coach got asked an awkward question about sex during a presser today... (Canada)

There's no denying that football in Canada is JUST different. Everything from the quirky rules to the schemes are enough to make an American football purist scratch his head.

Come to find out, even the press conferences for head coaches in Canada are vastly different than those here in the states.

Apparently, one of the traditions leading up to the Canadian Football championship game (known as the Grey Cup) is that a media member asks a head coach whether they believe their players should have sex before the game. According to Deadspin, the tradition started years ago with a longtime Toronto writer, who has since passed, and the tradition has been continued by an Edmonton writer named Terry Jones.

Since it's a reoccurring question each year, Ottawa Redblacks head coach Rick Campbell knew it was coming and was able to prepare, and he offered up an answer that was full of typical coachspeak.

Something tells me this is a trend that won't make its way south so I don't expect Nick Saban or Jim Harbaugh to be fielding that question anytime soon.

Take a listen to coach Campbell's response below.
