By now we all know that Mike Leach has very little filter when it comes to his thoughts, but during yesterday's presser, he took that to the next level.
The soundbite took place within the first two minutes of Leach arriving at the podium while talking about the stats he values (like total plays, first downs, and 3rd down conversion percentage), and ones he thinks are garbage. In this instance, it's time of possession that comes under scrutiny
"So often, those people who value time of possession, they just sit behind the center and pretend like they're going to tickle his ass - and maybe they are and maybe they're not - just waiting for the clock to tick by."
"You're pretending you're a smart coach if you're doing that."
Yeah. Leach went there.
