Chatter about Chuck Pagano's future with the Indianapolis Colts has been going on for quite some time, and with the Colts off to a 3-8 mark, it's going to take a turnaround to keep that chatter quiet heading into 2018.
While he recovered from cancer treatment his first year with the franchise, missing four games while Bruce Arians took the reigns of the team, Pagno's first three seasons in Indy saw the team finish 11-5, winning the AFC in years two and three. But in the two years after that Pagano went 8-8, followed by his 3-8 start to 2017.
This year, the Colts have blown a number of halftime leads, and when asked if it's starting to become a mental hurdle for his guys he launched into an pretty puzzling rant.
Pagano's answer made for one of the most bizarre press conference moments of the season thus far, as he begins by talking about the 1993 Bill Murray film Groundhog Day where Murray plays a weatherman who finds himself living the same day over, and over, and over again.
...if that isn't bizarre enough, Pagano somehow then attempts to tie in a metaphor involving hurricanes coming off the Atlantic.
