Arizona: Sources tell FootballScoop a number of coaches have been asked to interview over the past few days including Kevin Sumlin, Neal Brown, Mark Helfrich, Jedd Fisch, Marcel Yates, Beau Baldwin & another former coach who currently is a TV / media presence. We hear a decision is expected in the coming days. Will update as more is clear.

UCF: Defensive coordinator Randy Shannon has signed a 3-year deal with a salary of $300,000 per for the 2018 and '19 seasons -- during which he'll be paid out a $2.2 million buyout from Florida -- and then jump to $1 million during the 2020 season with a $300,000 retention bonus in February 2020, tweets Steve Berkowitz.

Arkansas: Sam Ogden will be the Hogs' director of video and Brooks Cockrell the assistant director of recruiting operations for creative media, sources tell FootballScoop. Both worked with Chad Morris at SMU.

Texas A&M: He's been working for the Aggies for weeks, but Texas A&M has just now formally announced Tim Brewster as tight ends coach.

Carolina Panthers: Offensive coordinator Mike Shula and quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey have been fired, per multiple reports.

Notre Dame: Linebackers coach Clark Lea is expected to be promoted to defensive coordinator, per Pete Thamel.

Stanford: SMU wide receivers coach Bobby Kennedy, who has coached the wideouts at Iowa, Texas, and Colorado, is expected to join the Stanford staff working with the wideouts, per Bruce Feldman.

LSU: Ed Orgeron plans to make Steve Ensminger its offensive coordinator while consultant Jerry Sullivan will be elevated to a more significant role, possibly as passing game coordinator, reports Ross Dellenger of The Baton Rouge Advocate.

Alabama: The Tide's coaching staff took home $1.27 million for winning last night's national title.

North Carolina A&T: Head coach Rod Broadway is retiring following the team's undefeated season, 39 years in the coaching profession, and HBCU national titles at three different schools (NC A&T, North Carolina Central, and Grambling State). Broadway will serve as a special assistant to the athletic director for the next six months and leaves football with an impressive overall record of 125-45. Defensive coordinator and assistant head coach Sam Washington has been promoted to head coach.

LSU: Former Mandeville HS (LA) head coach Guy LeCompte is expected to join the staff in an analyst role, per David Folse II. Sources tell us the same.

Florida: Per source, Copiah CC (JC - MS) defensive coordinator Otis Yelverton has been hired as an assistant director of player personnel.

Georgia Tech: Per source, defensive coordinator Nate Woody is having Appalachian State graduate assistant Trey Money join him at Georgia Tech. Money worked with the linebackers at App State.

UTEP: San Marcos Baptist Academy (TX) wide receivers coach Barrick Nely has joined the staff as director of player development and high school relations.

Washington State: Former Minnesota head coach and defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys is being hired as Mike Leach's new defensive coordinator, per source.
