Misericordia (D-III - PA): Misericordia University, a member of NCAA Division III located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Assistant Football Coach / Strength and Conditioning Coach. A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; prior playing or coaching experience at the college, university, or professional level; and working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations are required. A defensive coordinator or offensive line coach, as well as experience in strength and conditioning are preferred. MIT (D-III - MA): MIT is looking to add an assistant football / assistant sports performance coach. This is a 10-month benefits eligible position. Candidates must embrace the dual role of coaching football and assisting and facilitating the training of all varsity sports within the athletic department. The Assistant Football / Assistant Sport Performance Coach must comply with all MIT, NCAA and NEWMAC established rules and regulations. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of collegiate football coaching experience and
experience with coaching strength and conditioning. Bachelorโ€™s degree required,
masters preferred. USA Weight Lifting or NSCA certification strongly preferred. 1-3 years coaching experience preferably at the college/university level. A Bachelor's degree is required preferably in a field related to physical education or proven instructional experience. Masterโ€™s degree is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to pass the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam if they enter with an alternate certification.
