Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt University Men’s Basketball Strength and Conditioning is currently looking for volunteer/unpaid interns for the summer of 2017. Summer Term: June 5th -August 11th Deadline to Apply: March 31, 2017 Responsibilities: Assist in the facilitation and implementation of all facets of the athletic performance training program for Men’s Basketball, Assist in daily maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of training facility, Active participation in staff in-service meetings and completion of various assignments throughout the internship period Qualifications, Strong desire to pursue a career in the Athletic Performance/Strength and Conditioning Field, Bachelor’s degree or entering senior year of undergraduate course work (Preferred background in exercise science, exercise physiology, or similar field), College credit available towards graduation available if applicable · CSCCa SCCC or NSCA CSCS Certification (or pursuing certification), Collegiate playing experience preferred, Experience with athlete monitoring systems and data analysis preferred, Previous experience within a collegiate strength and conditioning setting preferred. Warner University (NAIA – FL): Warner University has an immediate opening for a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the football program. The job description includes implementing the physical and mental development of football players, dynamic stretch routines and monitoring during practice, sideline management on game day, strength and conditioning program for a calendar year, weight room supervision for the school year, the reinforcement of the direction of the football program and university, and any other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Warner University is a small, Christian University located in Lake Wales, Florida.
