Tennessee: The Vols have officially announced Rock Gullickson as strength and conditioning coach.

Fordham: Fordham University is accepting applications for an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach (Part-Time) position. Army: The United States Military Academy is accepting applications for both 2017 Spring and Summer internship positions. This is an unpaid position that would work primarily with the Football Strength and Conditioning Department. The responsibilities of this position include helping the strength and conditioning staff with set-up and breakdown of equipment, nutrition distribution, and analytics. This internship position will offer an educational program, which includes a weekly topic of discussion, book and article readings, as well as interview preparation. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a passion for coaching, learning, and leading. Preferred qualifications: certification from a nationally recognized association, and previous strength and conditioning experience. There is no monetary compensation or housing for this position. Cincinnati: The University of Cincinnati Strength and Conditioning Department is currently looking for highly motivated volunteer intern coaches for the Spring Semester. This position will work directly with the University of Cincinnati Football team as well as assist the Olympic Sports teams as needed. This is an unpaid position so candidates MUST be passionate for the field and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in the field of Strength and Conditioning. This internship includes assisting in all aspects of training in compliance with NCAA regulations, daily maintenance of the facility, daily set up and breakdown of the workouts, educational courses/ certification preparation (NSCA/CSCCa/USAW) and professional development with the full-time staff. To qualify, candidates should have or be working towards attaining their bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and have or be working towards attaining one of the following certifications: CSCS, SCCC, CPR. It is preferred that candidates are former athletes or have previous experience working in Strength and Conditioning. East Tennessee State: East Tennessee State University Football Strength & Conditioning is looking for two hard working, enthusiastic volunteer interns who are confident, have a presence and be able to coach Division 1 Football Student-Athletes for the Winter 2017. The two people chosen for this position must be able to start January 13 2017 and end May 4 2017. This is an UNPAID position, in which the successful candidates can receive academic credit if applicable, experience working with a Division 1 Strength & Conditioning program, and consideration for a recommendation for future employment in the strength and conditioning throughout the country.
