Marshall: The Marshall University Football Strength and Conditioning program has an open internship available for the fall season. This position is unpaid, but will provide housing. This position offers the experience of working with a Division I Strength and Conditioning program. This is an intense, hands on experience that will entail working with all program aspects from assisting in running groups, to nutrition and facility upkeep, and set up/break down of the weight room. Interested candidates should contact Austin Winfree at winfreea@marshall.edu​.

Sacred Heart: The Sacred Heart University Strength & Conditioning department is seeking a paid intern to work from August 2018 to May 2019 (with possible contract renewel). This position will pay $15,000 and will be working exclusively with Men's & Women's Ice Hockey and Track & Field. All past interns that have held this position have gone on to get full-time jobs in Collegiate Strength & Conditioning. UW-Whitewater: The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Track and Field Program is seeking two (2) UNPAID Strength and Conditioning Interns for the Fall of 2018 and/or Spring 2019. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting with supervision and execution of the strength training programs for the track and field program, assisting the short sprints coach with track workouts, assisting with testing, and professional development throughout the internship program. Required qualifications include completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, a desire to become a strength and conditioning and/or track and field professional, and possess a strong work ethic. Participation in athletics is preferred. Other preferred qualifications include certification from an accredited organization, previous coaching experience, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic weightlifting movements. Charleston Southern: Charleston Southern University Strength and Conditioning Department is looking for hardworking, enthusiastic volunteer interns who are confident, have a presence and are able to assist with coaching Division 1 Student- Athletes for the Fall/Spring 2018/2019 School year. The qualified candidate will be assigned sport(s) based on his/her background and experience. The position will also assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Candidates must possess or be working toward a certification through the CSCCa and/or NSCA. A CSCCa 640-Hour Mentorship can be completed during this internship. Candidates must have excellent communication skills. Candidates must have a current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Candidates must have solid work ethic and attention to detail. Candidates must be available for hours of operation with their designated teams and/or designated by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Candidates must have a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. The individuals chosen for this position needs to be available ASAP. This is an UNPAID position, in which the successful candidates can get experience working with a Division 1 Strength & Conditioning program and consideration for a recommendation for future employment in the strength and conditioning field throughout the country. Butler: Butler is looking to hire a part-time strength coach. This is a 12-month position. Responsibilities include assisting with coaching and teaching of training programs for 20 teams and 400 student athletes, Build a training program for assigned teams. Maintain progress records for evaluation of success of the program. Qualifications include a four-year bachelor's degree, NSCA or SCCCA certification, CPR certification, USWA certificiation preferred, one year of S&C experience required.
