Dallas Cowboys: New York Giants assistant strength coach Markus Paul has joined the staff, per ESPN's Todd Archer.

Kent State: Louisiana Tech intern Wes Bordelon has accepted an assistant strength position at Kent State.

Franklin College (D-III - IN): Franklin College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, invites applications for an Assistant Football Coach (Offensive Line) and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the football program with recruiting and coaching duties and directing the strength and conditioning program for the athletic department. This a full-time, 10-month staff position. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is preferred. Candidates must have offensive line experience and must hold NCCA strength/conditioning certification (either through NSCA or CSCCA). Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until a candidate is selected. Weber State (FCS - UT): Weber State Strength and Conditioning is accepting applications for Two (2) UNPAID internship positions for the 2018 SUMMER Session. Internship dates are from May 28th – July 27th. Interns will gain practical experience working in a Division I Strength & Conditioning setting. REQUIREMENTS: CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications; a desire to become a Strength and Conditioning professional, the ability maintain a flexible and demanding schedule, and effective communication and leadership skills in a group setting. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CSCS, USAW, or SCCC certifications; previous intern or coaching experience, personal involvement in a competitive sport, and proficiency with computer data entry programs. Responsibilities will include assisting with the team training sessions of Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and other sports as they arrive to campus, professional development assignments, facility maintenance, and other tasks as designated by the Strength and Conditioning staff. Kentucky: The University of Kentucky's Olympic Sports Strength & Conditioning department is seeking volunteer interns for the Summer 2018. Interns will have the opportunity to work with all the Olympic sports at the University of Kentucky. Volunteer interns may have the opportunity to earn a paid intern position come the Fall 2018. Qualifications: Strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach;
Possess or working towards a certification through the CSCCa, USAW,and/or NSCA;
CPR/AED certified; Prior experience working in a strength and conditioning setting or previous collegiate athletic experience; Experience coaching the Olympic lifts and/or competing in the sport of Olympic weightlifting; Outstanding work ethic and integrity. Details of Volunteer Internship Program: Start Date: May 29, 2018; End Date: August 2, 2018 (this date is negotiable); Interns will complete our internship curriculum, which includes programming projects, drills to improve coaching ability on the floor, how to network within the profession and preparation for future job opportunities; No monetary compensation provided. West Texas A&M (D-II): Louisiana Tech intern Ben Kozak has accepted the head strength position at West Texas A&M.

Sacred Heart (D-I - CT): Sacred Heart University, a member of the Northeast Conference, is seeking two Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coaches. The purpose of these positions is to assist with the year-round development and implementation of Strength and Conditioning for all 32 varsity teams. Graduate Assistants will also assist any club sport or student that may need guidance in the area of Strength and Conditioning. The positions would begin in August 2018 and be a 2 year commitment. The successful candidate would have full responsibility for 5+ division 1 teams. Requirements: Bachelors degree (3.0gpa) in an exercise science related field. Experience in collegiate strength and conditioning. CSCS or SCCC. CPR/AED. Must be admitted into the Exercise Science and Nutrition (Performance Track) Masters Program at Sacred Heart University. Louisiana Tech: Louisiana Tech University, a member of Conference USA located in Ruston, La. Is currently accepting applications for Paid Strength & Conditioning Intern. Required qualifications include master’s degree, current CPR/AED certification, and CSCS or SCCC. This paid internship is expected to begin March 7, 2018 and will extend until January 1, 2019. This is a $1000 a month paid internship, no benefits and no moving cost. During this time period, interns will get experience working with a FBS football program as well as one Olympic Sport. You will have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities. Eastern Illinois (FCS): Eastern Illinois University is seeking to fill a Graduate Assistant strength and conditioning position that will begin in the summer of 2018. Candidates must have a strong desire to be a full time Strength and Conditioning coach. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the design and implementation of sports performance programs for assigned sports, assisting with football, weight room supervision and upkeep, daily communication with sport coaches and athletic trainers, and other duties assigned by the head strength and conditioning coach. Required: previous collegiate coaching experience (Internships included), CPR/AED certification, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field. In order to be considered for the position, the candidate must be admitted into graduate school at EIU. SCCC or CSCS certification required. Compensation includes a tuition waiver and stipend. Upper Iowa (D-II):  Upper Iowa University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Full- Time Assistant Sports Performance/Strength and Conditioning Coach. Assistant coach will work with the Director of Sports Performance/Strength and Conditioning Coach to assist with all aspects of the strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports. The successful candidate will have full responsibility of teams assigned by Director. Will also assist with the implementation of strength training, conditioning, and speed/agility with larger teams with Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all conditioning and training for sports teams as assigned by Director. Maintain detailed records for assigned programs and develop annual written programs for student-athletes to follow. Assist with all operational needs and maintenance of facilities. Complete other duties that may be assigned by Director. Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Certification through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC certification) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS certification) or obtained within 60 days of hire.
