Iowa State:After losing its opener vs. South Dakota State to big weather, Iowa State has scheduled Incarnate Word (FCS - TX) for a Dec. 1 game, provided the Cyclones do not reach the Big 12 Championship and Incarnate Word does not reach the FCS playoffs. On the difficult process to get here.

Maryland: The University System of Maryland board of regents will announce the results from the investigation into Jordan McNair's death on Sept. 21. Details here.

Georgia State: Head coach Shawn Elliott tore his bicep following a touchdown celebration last week against NC State and the injury will need surgery next week when the program takes on Western Michigan.

Alabama A&M (FCS): The Alabama A&M football program is being hit with five years of probation, scholarship reductions of 10%, a 25% reduction in recruiting or evaluation days, a postseason ban for the 2018-19 season, and fines. The penalty comes on the heels of NCAA violations involving the certification of students athletes dating back to 2011, per AL.com.

Dartmouth (FCS - MA): Head coach Buddy Teevens has announced the addition of Callie Brownson as an offensive quality control analyst for the program, making her the first Division I full-time female quality control analyst in college football. During camp, Brownson served as an intern with the program and has also played a role at the Manning Passing Academy.
