John Carroll (D-III - OH): Michigan defensive analyst Rick Finotti will be the new head coach at John Carroll sources tell FootballScoop. Prior to joining Michigan's staff Finotti served as head coach at St. Edward (OH).
Oregon: Oregon has suspended strength coach Irele Oderinde one month without pay following the hospitalization of three players last week.
Texas: Interim AD Mike Perrin released a statement Tuesday defending the hiring of former Baylor staffer Casey Horny as a special teams quality control assistant. "Before approving the hiring, I spoke with Coach Horny and reviewed his background and his role at previous universities. Coach Horny committed to Coach Herman and me that he is in total alignment with our culture of integrity at the University of Texas."
Indiana State: Wyoming defensive backs coach and defensive passing game coordinator Curt Mallory is expected to become the head coach at Indiana State, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports and WTHI-TV.
Minnesota: P.J. Fleck has announced his first full staff at Minnesota -- Kirk Ciarrocca (OC/QBs), Kenni Burns (RBs), Brian Callahan (TEs), Matt Simon (WRs) and Ed Warinner (OL) on offense, and Robb Smith (DC/LBs), Maurice Linguist (DBs), Bryce Paup (DL) and Robert Wegner (STs) on defense and special teams. Fleck's support staff consists of Gerrit Chernoff (general manager), Dan Nichol (strength), Maurice Hendrickson (director of player personnel), and Matt Childers (video).

San Francisco 49ers: Seahawks exec Trent Kirchner has withdrawn from the Niners' GM search, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Washington Redskins: The Redskins interviewed Greg Manusky for their defensive coordinator position today. Manusky coached the outside linebackers last season for the organization, and has previous experience coordinating the defense with the Colts, Chargers, and Niners.
Oregon State: Wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Jason Phillips will earn $220,008 per year on a 2-year contract, and safeties coach John Rushing will make $200,004 annually on a 2-year deal, according to contract details obtained by Gina Mizell of The Oregonian.
Houston Texans: Defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel's contract expires on January 24th (next Tuesday), according to Adam Caplan. On Monday, head coach Bill O'Brien noted that Crennel "has done a great job," before adding, "I know that we would love to have him back." Texas State: Zak Kuhr, who coached the running backs at Rutgers last season after previously working under Everett Withers at James Madison (FCS - VA) as co-OC / RBs coach, has joined the Texas State staff as co-offensive coordinator.
Cleveland Browns: Alex Marvez reports that Clyde Simmons is joining the Browns coaching staff after spending the past five seasons as the assistant defensive line coach with the Rams. Marvez adds that Simmons will work with the defensive line.

West Florida (D-II): UWF is seeking qualified applicants for an entry-level position coaching tight ends. Duties will include coaching the tight ends, recruiting an assigned area, academic monitoring, administrative duties, extensive video breakdown of games and practices on HUDL, opponent scout as well as some equipment room duties. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach, offensive coordinator or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. College Football Playoff: Former Virginia Tech head coachFrank Beamer, Robert Morris president Chris Howard and Ohio State AD Gene Smith have been appointed to the College Football Playoff selection committee.
Tennessee: Butch Jones is likely to promote Larry Scott from tight ends to offensive coordinator per multiple sources; however the announcement could be held until Butch secures the quarterbacks coach he is planning to hire. We understand additional moves within the staff are still being considered.
Brevard (D-II - NC): Sources tell FootballScoop that former NFL running back Eric Gallon is joining the staff as running backs coach and he will also carry the title of assistant head coach. Gallon formerly coached at Tennessee State (FCS) and Youngstown State (FCS - OH).
Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags are expected to add Clemson defensive line coach Marion Hobby to their coaching staff, per Alex Marvez who adds that Hobby is expected to coach the defensive line.
Nebraska Kearney (D-II): Co-offensive coordinator Joe Holtzclaw will not return next season after two years with the program, per KFXL. Holtzclaw served as offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Eastern New Mexico (D-II): Head coach Kelley Lee has hired Andrew McCraw to coach the offensive line and serve as run game coordinator. McCraw is an ENMU alum and former Greyhounds graduate assistant who recently served as the head coach at Socorro HS (NM).
Davenport (D-II - MI): Following the departure of Lou Esposito to become the co-defensive coordinator at Western Michigan, offensive coordinator Steve Casula has been named interim head coach of the program.
Boise State: Former Fresno State offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau is expected to join the Boise State staff coaching receivers sources tell FootballScoop. Prior serving at Fresno State last season, Kiesau spent a year with Nick Saban at Alabama. Kiesau has also served as OC at Washington, Kansas & Colorado and coached receivers at Cal as well.
Keiser University (NAIA - FL): Doug Socha, who spent this past season as an offensive assistant with the Buffalo Bills, has been named the program's first head coach. Socha previously served as the head coach at Oxbridge Academy (FL), Delray Beach's American Heritage (FL) and as an assistant at the University of Buffalo and Canyons JC (CA).

Western Michigan: Kevin Johns has been hired as offensive coordinator, sources tell FootballScoop. Johns spent the last six seasons as either a co-offensive coordinator or the sole offensive coordinator at Indiana.
Oklahoma Panhandle State (D-II): OPSU is currently seeking an offensive assistant working with the QBs or RBs. This will be a restricted earnings position with the ability to earn 12-15,500 depending on experience. Candidates with QB playing or coaching experience, at the college level, will be given preference. Brevard (D-II - NC): Sources tell FootballScoop that former NFL player Everett Lindsay has joined the staff as the offensive line coach. Lindsay started at all five offensive line positions during his 11 seasons in the NFL and went on to coach for the Arizona Cardinals under Dennis Green.
Arkansas: Last night, Bret Bielema announced that defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads has been promoted to defensive coordinator.
Elon (FCS - NC): Per source, Penn State defensive graduate assistant Ryan Smith has been hired to coach the corners.
Faulkner (NAIA - AL): Faulkner University is accepting applications for its defensive coordinator position. This is a 9-month, full-time position with benefits. This is a full-time (12-month) position that will report to the Head Football Coach and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the University’s intercollegiate football program. The selected individual will assist with all aspects of game and practice preparations, evaluate personnel as well as mentor and monitor the student-athletes progress on and off-the-field; and, follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division II, the CIAA, and Chowan University. Moorpark College (JC - CA): Moorpark College is seeking a RBs coach for the 2017 season. Moorpark College is located in southern California, 5 miles from Thousand Oaks and plays in one of the most competitive divisions in California.
