Coaches ready to move up: A look at a number of assistant coaches (by conference) ready to take on greater responsibility. First up, ACC. - Followed by the SEC.

Bill Belichick: According to an ESPN The Magazine article, friends of Bill Belichick believe that he will coach "two or three more years, enough to ensure that his two sons, Stephen and Brian, both Patriots assistants, are secure."

Steve Spurrier: The Head Ball Coach has made it clear that he has no desire to return to college football, but just to reiterate, Spurrier was asked about his interest in returning to the Florida Gators as head coach by ESPNU Radio and responded by saying, "No. I have had my run. You know, 20 years ago I would have loved to be the head coach here again. Sure I miss the play calling, the players, the quarterback, and being around the guys, but the other parts, I don't miss those at all."

That was, until the defensive staff made an earnest effort in improving tackling by breaking into five tackle groups instead of three. In doing so, the Hornets improved in nearly every defensive category.
