Tom O'Brien: The former Boston College and NC State head coach has been named the color analyst for Navy's radio broadcasts. O'Brien played defensive end at Navy from 1968-70 and started his coaching career with the Midshipmen as offensive tackles and tight ends coach. He last coached as Virginia's assistant head coach and tackles/tight ends coach in 2014.
USA Football: USA Football is looking for high-energy and impactful coaches and speakers looking to share their strategies and unique insights with National Conference attendees. This year's National Conference will take place from January 26-28, 2018 at the Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Your proposal will be reviewed by USA Football staff and education advisory volunteers. Applications are due August 30, 2017. Individuals are encouraged to submit several proposals as this presents a broader range for our selection and a higher likelihood that one of your topics will make it to final selection.

Seton Hill (D-II - PA): The Seton Hill University Athletic Department has a part-time 10 month intern position (paid over 12 months). The purpose of this position is to recruit, coach, and retain full roster team. Assistant DL Intern Coaching Position: A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred. Two years prior college coaching experience preferred. Defensive Line experience desired and on the road recruiting experience at the college level is required. Excellent computer skills are necessary. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, as well as represent the University well Annual compensation is $11,000, incumbent will also be provided with $800 in dining hall flex annually. John McDonell: Georgia State offensive analyst & longtime college coach John McDonell has agreed to serve as interim head coach at St. Martin's Episcopal School in New Orleans (LA). McDonell is familiar with New Orleans having coached offensive line at Tulane for four seasons under Curtis Johnson & recruiting the area for years.
Millsaps (D-III - MS): Millsaps College, located in Jackson, MS seeks applicants for a full-time defensive coordinator. This is a benefit eligible, 10 month position. Start date is immediate. Candidate must posses strong organizational and interpersonal skills and have great work ethic. Salary range dependant upon experience and skill, Bachelors degree required. Benedictine (D-III - IL): Benedictine University is looking for an Unpaid Defensive Volunteer. This is an entry level position into college coaching. Responsibilities will include assisting with a defensive position group, data entry, video breakdown, opponent scouting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Saint Vincent (D-III - PA): Saint Vincent College seeks a part-time assistant football coach. DEFENSIVE BACK / SECONDARY experience preferable. This coach will be responsible for coaching their position, film-breakdown (HUDL), scouting reports, recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The chosen candidate for the OC position will be able to supplement his employment with an off the field occupation. Mayville State (NAIA - ND): Mayville State University, located in Mayville, ND is looking to hire an immediate full-time defensive backs coach. The position is an 11-month full benefited position that also requires teaching 12 credits per year in the Health, Physical Education & Recreation department. Independence CC (JC - KS): Independence Community College in Kansas is accepting applications from highly motivated coaches for three (3) open assistant coaching internship position (two on offense and one on defense). The offensive positions open are slot receivers / tight ends, and the other will work will work with the offensive line and special teams. On defense the opening will work with the secondary or linebackers and the special teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching the Slot Receivers & TE’s, along with special teams, maintaining a large recruiting territory, film breakdown using DVSPORT, coaching within the program, and other duties as assigned by Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. Juniata (D-III - PA): Juniata College is seeking applicants for an assistant football coach to join its staff. Preference will be given to applicants with experience coaching or playing wide receiver. The position will report to the Head Football Coach, and the head coach and/or offensive coordinator will assign duties. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Prospective applicant will coach own position group, run meetings, contribute to video breakdown and weekly game plans. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a plus. Knowledge of and adherence to Juniata College, NCAA Division III, and Centennial Conference rules and regulations are also required. Position will start on August 1, 2017.
