Diversifying Two- and Three-Man Pass Tags in the Air Raid System: Like most Air Raid offenses, at the crux of Washington High School’s (SD) offensive system is the four vertical concept. And while the Warriors have had plenty of success running it, three straight state championships from ’15 to ’17, passing game coordinator Erick Struck felt there was enough of other voided space in coverage to take advantage of with higher percentage throws. So, he cataloged two- and three-man pass tags this past season to add to his arsenal, which helped in producing over 5K yards of total offense and 26 TD passes. In an exclusive clinic report with X&O Labs, Coach Struck details when he relies on double posts, post/digs, smashes and snags to exploit space in zone and man coverages. X&O Labswill release this report next Tuesday. Get it sent to your email FREE — go here now.
