MIAC: The Division III conference considering booting founding member St. Thomas for being too successful took no action during a meeting of league presidents on Thursday.

Pitt: Per source, Pitt has added Adam Caltury as director of recruiting. Caltury was previously the director of player personnel at Rutgers and was a recruiting assistant at Ohio State prior to that. We also understand that Pitt has added Iowa State director of creative media Taylor Wilhelm as the director of creative media, and Wake Forest associate DFO John Ford has accepted the same position on Pat Narduzzi's staff.

Ole Miss: Former Kansas director of football operations Nolan Jones is joining Matt Luke's staff in a similar capacity. Jones has previously served in similar capacity at Northwestern, Kentucky, Southern Miss, Kent State and Michigan.

Minnesota Morris (D-III): UMN Morris is seeking an assistant football coach. OL experience is preferred but all candidates will be considered. This is a 75% part-time position. Date of employment is July 29th-December 22, 2019 with possibility of becoming full time renewable. Includes medical and dental insurance. XFL: The XFL on Thursday announced Jonathan Hayes as the head coach of its St. Louis franchise.

Bobby Petrino: Bobby, who visited during Missouri's Spring practice, was reported by his former quarterback at Arkansas to be joining Barry Odom's staff. However, source with knowledge tells FootballScoop Bobby is not joining the staff at this time.

LSU: Inside USC's Scott Wolf is reporting former USC defensive line coach Kenechi Udeze is set to join Ed Orgeron's staff as a defensive analyst. Orgeron coached Udeze when he was at USC. Sources tell FootballScoop this move has been discussed in Baton Rouge; but has not been finalized at this time. Based on what we are hearing, it seems there is a realistic potential this ultimately happens; but at this time nothing has been finalized.

Cleveland Browns: North Marion HS (Citra, FL) head coach Willie Offord has accepted a Bill Walsh Fellowship with the Browns. Offord is the former Vikings Special Teams Captain and led his team to a runner-up finish in Florida's 5A level last season.

LSU: The school has now formally announced the hire of Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward as their new athletic director. Why A&M's search will be fascinating to follow, and why this could set off a major domino in the SEC West.

Blinn (JC - TX): Blinn JC is looking to hire an assistant coach, preferably working with the running backs. Essential Duties: Assist the coach(s) in practice, games or events. Ability to travel with the team and/or coaching staff to games, events and recruitment. Assist in the supervision of extra-curricular activities. Compiles sports information, including but not limited to statistics and reporting, as assigned. Assists with promotions and marketing of the Blinn College athletic program. Helps maintain the athletic equipment and facilities. Assists with scouting, recruiting and other work related duties. Attend all required meetings with Athletic Director. Assist in supervising the strength and conditioning program. Assist in the supervision of the Colleges residence halls and dining hall. Adhere to all Blinn College policies and procedures. Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will be looking to fill a strictly OFF-field graduate assistant position responsible for coordinating academics for the athletes in the football program. Purdue: Ryan Wallace will be the new tight ends coach after spending the previous two seasons as offensive / special teams quality control coach with the program, per Rivals. Wallace coached the tight ends during spring practices following the departure of tight ends / special teams coach Mark Tommerdahl, who left for Texas Tech in February. Also, defensive line coach Kevin Wolthausen, who is in his third season on staff, will take over the special teams coordinator role, the report adds.

Western New England (D-III - MA): David Benoit has been named offensive coordinator after serving as the offensive coordinator at SUNY Maritime (D-III - NY) last season.

Alcorn State (FCS): Alcorn State University is looking to fill an immediate need of a full-time head equipment manager. While working primarily with football, duties will include managing and ordering all Adidas apparel for all sports at Alcorn State University. Compensation for the position is based on previous experience. Benefits are included and the possibility to teach courses is available with a Physical Education Master’s Degree.
