UCF: The Knights have formally announced Anthony Tucker as running backs coach, Shane Burnham as defensive line coach, Darrell Wyatt as wide receivers coach and Jeff Lebby as an offensive assistant. Tucker spent the past two seasons in the same post at Maryland, Burnham the past two seasons as the defensive line coach at Rutgers, Wyatt spent one season as wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Houston, and Lebby spent 2017 as a FootballScoop NAIA Coordinator of the Year finalist as the offensive coordinator at Southeastern University in Florida. Additionally, the Knights have announced Steve Smith as director of player development, Marc Votteler as assistant director of player personnel, and Rodney Hill and Dave Young as assistant directors of sports performance.
Arizona Cardinals: Ian Rapoport reports this morning that the Cardinals are more confident than ever that Bruce Arians will return next season; however he adds the organization has performed diligence and "let word slip that [Texans head coach Bill] O'Brien would be a top target -- if available." Make of that what you will....
Grad Assistants: Reminder to the full-time guys out there, at one time you too were looking for that first break. During this Christmas season, choose to give some of your time to help one of your young guys find that next step in his career. Will be the greatest gift you can possibly provide. God bless.
Syracuse: Syracuse football has two offensive graduate assistant positions open. We are specifically looking for candidates with either quarterback or offensive line experience. Bachelor’s degree is required and candidates must have the academic background to be admitted into a graduate program at Syracuse University.
Holy Cross: Bob Chesney's staff at Holy Cross is coming together with Scott James coming from New Hampshire, Liam Coen coming from Maine & will serve as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks, Matt Colangelo from Villanova will coach safeties and Drew Canan from Assumption.
