Oakland Raiders: The Raiders are reportedly planning to pitch Jon Gruden their head coaching job with a package that includes part ownership.

Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): Texas Tech offensive coordinator Eric Morris has been named Incarnate Word's head coach. More on the hire.

Texas: Texas has held "conversations to at least some degree" with former Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich about joining the staff, according to Geoff Ketchum of Orangebloods. Additionally, Texas wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer has had conversations about becoming Houston's offensive coordinator, Ketchum reports. It is not clear at this time what role Helfrich would take on should he join the Texas staff.

Indiana: Dave Ballou will be the strength and conditioning coach at Indiana, sources tell FootballScoop. Ballou is currently the co-director of strength and conditioning at Notre Dame, and prior to that was the physical conditioning coach at IMG Academy. He also holds experience in the Indiana high school ranks, as does IU head coach Tom Allen. Ballou is a former Hoosier fullback and was recognized as the Hoosier Strength Challenge champion during his time on the roster.

Indianapolis Colts: In the event the club moves on from Chuck Pagano, former Oakland Raiders head coach and current Seattle Seahawks assistant head coach/offensive line coach Tom Cable will "serious consideration" as head coach, tweets NFL Network's Mike Silver.

Louisville: With their Tax Slayer bowl loss to Mississippi State today, Bobby Petrino ends the season having earned $868,750 in bonus earnings, which includes $500,000 for their APR score, and $368,750 for the appearance in a bowl game, Steve Berkowitz tweets.

Iowa State: Matt Campbell will collect an additional $100,000 for their Liberty Bowl win over Memphis today, and has made over $650,000 in bonus money, Steve Berkowitz tweets.

Indiana: Keith Caton, who has led Indiana's strength and conditioning program the past two seasons, is no longer with the program.

Memphis: Head coach Mike Norvell has collected a total of $175,000 in on-field incentives this season, per a tweet from Steve Berkowitz.

Delaware State (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop former Hampton head coach Connell Maynor is a strong candidate to become new head coach at Delaware State.

Mississippi Valley State (FCS): Josh Jackson is reporting (and we can confirm) Derek Welch will be new defensive coordinator at Mississippi Valley State. Welch, currently defensive backs coach at Southwest Mississippi, previously coached at East Central and Northwestern State (FCS - LA).

New York Giants: Jordan Raanan, who covers the Giants for ESPN, tweeted today: "Giants coaching job is coveted. Some names I've heard in recent days: Dave Toub (Chiefs), Kirk Ferentz (Iowa) and Kyle Whittingham (Utah)." Toub is one of the most respected assistant coaches in the league and likely has a shot. Ferentz and Whitt are two excellent football coaches. Seems hard at this point to think Kirk is looking to interview anywhere though. We'll keep you posted...

Florida: Source tells FootballScoop, Florida State offensive line grad assistant AJ Antonescu has been hired in the same capacity with Dan Mullen's staff at Florida.

Northwestern: Source tells FootballScoop Northwestern has identified the person they plan to fill Jerry Brown's defensive backs position with. Will update once approvals are in place.

USA Football: USA Football’s National Conference will feature nine 2017 State Championship-winning coaches, bringing the total amongst speakers to 95 state titles. Read more to explore the seasons these speakers had.

New York Giants: New general manager Dave Gettleman has dismissed long-time staff member and current vice president player evaluation Marc Ross. Ross, who has served in his current capacity the past five years, previously served as director of college scouting for the Giants for six seasons.

Washington State: With defensive coordinator Alex Grinch leaving sources tell FootballScoop Mike Leach is expected to hire a new defensive coordinator from outside the program. Nothing is imminent we are told. Will update as the search progresses.

Mississippi State: Source tells FootballScoop Mississippi State has offered Memphis corners coach Marcus Woodson. Woodson, a Mississippi native and former Ole Miss defensive back, previously coached defensive backs at Fresno State, Charleston Southern and Millsaps prior to joining Mike Norvell's staff at Memphis. Sources tell FootballScoop, State is confident he is coming; but we have heard chatter that Ole Miss and other SEC programs have had discussions with Woodson as well. Stay tuned...both Mississippi State and Memphis are about to kickoff their bowl games.

Michigan: Source tells FootballScoop former Arkansas director of strength & conditioning Ben Hebert is joining Jim Harbaugh's staff. Hebert served as Bret Bielema's head strength coach at both Arkansas & Wisconsin.

Robert Morris (FCS - PA): Source tells FootballScoop University at Albany linebackers coach Dave Plungas is joining the Robert Morris staff as defensive coordinator.

Northwestern: Long-time defensive backs coach Jerry Brown is going out on a high, announcing he will retire following the Wildcats bowl win yesterday over Kentucky. Brown just completed his 25th season on staff. Coach Brown earned this dance.

Bemidji State (D-II - MN): Source tells FootballScoop Aspen High (CO) head coach Karson Pike will be the new offensive coordinator at Bemidji. Pike previously served as offensive coordinator at Iowa Western.

Ohio State: USA Today's Steve Berkowitz tweeted last night Urban Meyer received $200,000 for his team playing in the Cotton Bowl. The full-time assistants at Ohio State will each receive bonuses equal to 29.75% of their salaries.

Hawaii: Last night word broke that Nick Rolovich is hiring FAU safeties coach Corey Batoon as defensive coordinator at Hawaii.

Austin Thomas: Multiple SEC teams have had discussions with former LSU general manager Austin Thomas; but sources tell FootballScoop there is a front-runner for his services.

Mississippi State: Speaking with reporters yesterday Joe Moorhead said he plans to use his 10th assistant on a special teams coordinator.

NC State: NC State's win over Arizona State yesterday secured an additional $75,000 in bonuses for Dave Doeren tweets Steve Berkowitz.
