Hurricane Florence:A Category 4 hurricane is on track to hit the Carolinas and/or Virginia in the next 72 hours. Here's a list of all the Division I games that could potentially be affected.

Montana State(FCS): Head coach Jeff Coate had to undergo an emergency appendectomy last night, according to 406mtsports.com. The report adds that he is resting and doing good.

Northeast Conference: Merrimack College, a Division II school in North Andover, Mass., will be the NEC's 11th member, the league announced today. Merrimack will become a full member in 2023-24. The NEC is a Division I league that competes in FCS.

NFL:Week 1 concludes with two games tonight -- Jets at Lions (7:10 p.m. ET) and Rams at Raiders (10:20 p.m. ET).

Kansas: David Beaty earned a $50,000 bonus for the Jayhawks 31-7 win over Central Michigan on Saturday, per Steve Berkowitz, who points out that Beaty is owed that for every non-conference victory over FBS opponents.

Alabama: The Tide have broken the AP record for most weeks at #1.
