Texas A&M: Jimbo Fisher has completed his on-the-field staff by hiring Minnesota assistant head coach/defensive backs coach Maurice Linguist, a source tells FootballScoop. The news was first reported by Billy Liucci of TexAgs. Linguist is a Mesquite, Texas, native who played at Baylor.

Alabama: Hugh Freeze was in the building today at Alabama to discuss the open offensive coordinator job, according to the Tuscaloosa News.

Tennessee Titans: Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel will interview on Wednesday and Rams offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur on Thursday, per Albert Breer.

Seattle Seahawks: About a week after accepting the assistant head coach / linebackers job with the 49ers, Ken Norton Jr. is reportedly headed to the Seahawks as defensive coordinator, per a tweet from Mike Garafolo. Alex Rozier adds that it's a three-year deal. Norton Jr. previously coached the linebackers for the Seahawks from 2010-2014.

Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks are bringing in Mike Solari as their new offensive line coach, per a tweet from Mike Garafolo. Solari coached with the Giants last season.

Pro Bowl: The Steelers & Saints' staffs will coach the Pro Bowl in Orlando at the end of the month.

Les Miles: Les reportedly has himself a role in an independent film currently being filmed. Miles is about to show out as Nelson.

Simon Fraser University (D-II - Canada): Stadium HS (Tacoma, WA) head coach Thomas Ford will be the new head coach at Simon Fraser tweets Farhan Lalji.

Tennessee Titans: Panthers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks will interview for the Titans' head gig, tweets Jason La Canfora. He is also a candidate with the Cardinals.

Alabama A&M (FCS): Connell Maynor will be the new head coach at Alabama A&M tweets John Dell of the Winston Salem Journal. Maynor coached the past four seasons at Hampton University going 20-25. He previously served as head coach at Winston Salem State.

Independence CC (KS): Independence Community College is looking for an assistant Offensive Line/TE coach and assistant Defensive Line/DE’s coach. These are unpaid positions with no salary, but does include free housing and meals along with a great opportunity. The ideal candidates are someone who played College football, preferably Junior College and someone who is single and looking to get his foot in the College game. The position includes your own recruiting area and position room. Other responsibilities will be DVSPORT/Hudl film breakdown, attending offseason workouts, and coaching duties assigned by the Offensive coordinator and head coach. Michigan: Michigan has formally announced Central Michigan tight ends coach Sherrone Moore as its tight ends coach.

Syracuse: Source tells FootballScoop former Nebraska offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh will join the Syracuse staff coaching offensive line. Coach Cav previously coached o-line at Oregon State, Hawaii and a number of other spots. With the move, we would expect Mike Lynch to shift over to another position group. Will update once clear....

Indianapolis: There was some thought the Titans could make a late run, but Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is reportedly headed to Indianapolis. More on the hire and the staff he plans to bring with him. Read more here.

University of La Verne (D-III - CA): The University of La Verne has an offensive graduate assistant position open, preferably working with the offensive line. Must be accepted into one of the graduate programs. The position offers tuition and a $2,500 stipend. No housing or meals. Colorado State: Source tells FootballScoop Eric Lewis is joining Mike Bobo's staff as corners coach. Lewis, who served in an off the field role at Tennessee this past season, previously coached defensive backs at Georgia State, Buffalo and Weber State. He also served as defensive coordinator at Weber & Eastern Michigan.

Oklahoma: Source tells FootballScoop Lincoln Riley is hiring Bennie Wylie.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans plan to interview Texans DC Mike Vrabel for their head coaching job tweets John McClain.

Cleveland Browns: Per multiple reports, the Browns will consider now former Titans head coach Mike Mularkey for their offensive coordinator position.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans only window (by rule) to interview coaches still in the playoffs is January 28th tweets Ian Rapoport. Jason La Canfora tweets that as much as the Titans might want Josh McDaniels, "there's little to no shot of landing him...The Colts remain heavy favorites."

Kansas City Chiefs: Adam Rittenberg tweets that Georgia quality control coach Jay Valai is joining the Chiefs staff as a defensive quality control coach working with the defensive backs.

Endicott (D-III - MA): Head coach Paul McGonagle has announced his coaching staff and it will consist of former Oberlin (D-III - OH) offensive coordinator Rob Matey (OC / QBs), Assumption College (D-II - MA) strong safeties coach Sean Golden (DC / DBs), Assumption (D-II - MA) assistant coach Jack Dustin - who coached the offensive and defensive lines during his time at Assumption, (DL / strength and conditioning), and Assumption College (D-II - MA) offensive line coach Joe Hook (OL). Bob Holmes, who served previously served on the Endicott staff working with the linebackers, defensive backs, and running backs, will work with the linebackers.

College of San Mateo (JC - CA): Tim Tulloch, who has been a part of the staff the past nine years, has been promoted to head coach.

Dallas Cowboys: Paul Alexander has been hired as the new Cowboys offensive line coach, per a tweet from Alex Marvez. Alexander spent over two decades as the Bengals offensive line coach, adding the assistant head coach title in 2003, when Marvin Lewis was named head coach.

Northeast Oklahoma (JC): Head coach Clay Patterson is stepping down source tells FootballScoop. Offensive line coach Zach Allen will be new head coach at NEO per source as well. Expect Patterson's new position to become official later this week we hear.

Temple: After two seasons as a graduate assistant working with the defense, Reggie Garrett has been promoted to a role as a defensive analyst. Head coach Geoff Collins also announced the following new roles on his staff, including a number of promotions; Ed Foley (assistant HC offense / STC / TEs), Taver Johnson (assistant HC defense / co-DC / safeties), Dave Patenaude (OC / QBs), Andrew Thacker (DC / LBs), Jim Panagos (DL / run game coordinator), Chris Wiesehan (OL / run game coordinator), Tom Pajic (senior offensive advisor), Larry Knight (director of player personnel), and Josh Linam (defensive quality control).

NC State: Per source, Mike Gray has accepted a graduate assistant position working with the linebackers on staff. Gray served as a defensive intern at Western Kentucky this past season.

Carthage (D-III - WI): Carthage College is seeking applicants for a full-time assistant coach, preferably with defensive line experience but looking for best available candidate. Must have collegiate playing or coaching experience. Enthusiasm for coaching, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are imperative. Salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits. Cleveland Browns: The Browns are interviewing TCU co-offensive coordinator / running backs coach Curtis Luper for their running backs job, Ian Rapoport tweets.

Arizona: Dick Tomey confirms Duane Akina (Stanford defensive backs coach and former Arizona DC) interviewed for the job this weekend. "After Duane's interview I thought that he might be the guy. I was so excited. But Kevin is a great choice and I get it."

Lake Erie College (D-II - OH): Lake Erie College has two graduate assistant openings. Would prefer guys with linebacker / defensive line experience on defense, and offensive line / tight ends experience on offense. Interested candidates can contact head coach Gerald Hazzard at ghazzard@lec.edu.

Tennessee Chattanooga (FCS): Per source,Davern Williams, the defensive line coach at East Mississippi CC (JC), has been hired to coach the defensive line, Western Carolina linebackers coach and former Georgia Tech assistant Zac Etheridge has been hired to coach the secondary, and La Verne (D-III - CA) defensive coordinator / secondary coach Oscar Rodriguez has been added to work with the linebackers.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have now announced that they've decided to part ways with head coach Mike Mularkey. This comes after reports last night surfaced that he'd be getting a contract extension, but Field Yates tweeted this morning that the two parties mutually agreed to part ways. Read more here.

Catawba (D-II - NC): Catawba College located in Salisbury NC, is looking to hire an offensive coordinator who has experience coaching quarterbacks. Interested candidates send resume and cover letter to head coach Curtis Walker at cjwalker@catawba.edu.

Tennessee Tech (FCS): Alabama graduate assistant Jake Thornton has been hired to coach the offensive line at Tennessee Tech.

Michigan: Linebackers coach and special teams coordinator Chris Partridge has signed a new contract keeping him in Ann Arbor, per a report from Tom VanHaaren. Partridge reportedly turned down opportunities at Alabama and a few other schools this off season. His previous two-year deal, worth $350,000 was set to expire recently.

Jersey Coast (JC – NJ): Jersey Coast junior college program is accepting applications for a head coach for the 2018/19 season. Jersey Coast is a member of the Seaboard football conference. This is a 12- month contract renewable position. Must have College football coaching experience. Position includes an innovative interactive compensation program. Fort Scott (JC - KS): Fort Scott CC is hiring four position assistant coaches; offense, defense, special teams, and a video/film coordinator. These jobs will contain on campus living, meal plan, and $4,000 salary. All positions will require film hudl breakdown, graphic design skills, academic/tutoring advisors, assistant strength coaches, and daily reports for coordinators and head coach. Detroit Lions: Ian Rapoport tweets that the Lions have informed other candidates that they've been eliminated from the search and are moving forward expecting Matt Patricia to become the organization's new head coach once their season ends.

Ellsworth CC (JC - IA): Ellsworth Community College is looking to hire an offensive assistant, defensive assistant, and a primary special teams coach. These are entry-level positions that offer a stipend and free housing/meals. Candidates from Iowa or bordering states preferred for recruiting.
