Please join us in praying for the Petrino family, as Bob Petrino - the father of Idaho head coach Paul Petrino and Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino - has sadly passed. Bob is the former longtime head coach at Carroll College.

Mississippi State: Sources tell FootballScoop former SMU defensive coordinator Van Malone has accepted the senior defensive analyst position at Mississippi State.

Alabama: Nick Saban is again the nation's highest-paid coach after the Tide announced his latest contract extension.

New Mexico State: Head coach Doug Martin has agreed to a new four-year contract, keeping him with the program through 2021. Martin led the team to their first bowl game in 57 years, where they beat Utah State 26-20 in overtime.

Glenville State (D-II): JJ Mayer, who most recently served as the defensive coordinator at Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV) has been hired as co-defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach, former Arizona standout TJ Johnson has joined the staff in an offensive quality control role, and Zach Turner will work in a defensive quality control role, per source.

Alliance Atlanta: South Dakota State (FCS) running backs coach John Johnson has left to coach the running backs for Atlanta's Alliance of American Football team, led by Brad Childress.

Keystone College (D-III - PA): Keystone College invites applications for the position of a Part-Time Assistant Football Coach. Responsibilities will include recruiting, coaching, development of student-athletes off the field, as well as other duties assigned by the Head Coach. This is a 10-month, stipend position, which will comply with all NCAA Division III and College rules and regulations. No housing or benefits are included. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, along with experience coaching or playing at the collegiate level. Keystone College is a private 4-year institution founded in 1868. AAC: Baylor associate DFO Ryan Kelly is leaving to become the American Athletic Conference's director of football operations.

NFLPA Bowl: Former Bills director of player personnel Jim Monos will cover the southeast and mid-Atlantic, former Vikings and Steelers scouting assistant BJ McNorton will handle the Midwest and former Texans, Rams, Panthers scout Pete Russell will oversee the West and Southwest.

West Alabama (D-II): The University of West Alabama is seeking applicants for an immediate Defensive Graduate Assistant position. This is a great opportunity for a young coach looking to gain on the field and recruiting experience. The position will cover graduate tuition and possibly provide small stipend. Williamette (D-III - OR): Willamette has an immediate opening for an assistant coach (offense, preferably skill). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coaching a position, scouting reports, practice planning, film break down, player evaluation, recruiting, and may have other additional duties as assigned by Head Coach or AD.
