College football and NASCAR have a lot in common. They both occupy the "weekend outdoor sports in large stadiums" segment of our society. The both owe some (or most) of their history to activities on the opposite side of the law; NASCAR was founded by bootleggers, college football has prominent teams named after cock fighting and illegal land procurement - but that just adds to the charm.
The two sports have started converging more and more lately. There's the Virginia Tech-Tennessee game to be played at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2016, and then there's the growing trend of stock cars getting painted up in college football colors.

Now it's Texas Tech's turn. This No. 32 car will hit the road at this weekend's Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Wait, Duck Commander 500? Where's my green, yellow, black, gray, silver and white Oregon car? Get on this, Pitens.
