Jim Harbaugh: Job rumors are "lies made up by our enemies."

Jim Harbaugh isn't taking the Rams job, but his response to rumors that he would makes me wish he'd be mentioned for every available job in the game of football.

Michigan defensive tackle Ryan Glasgow spoke to MLive on Tuesday and relayed the message Harbaugh gave his team. "He said '(I'll keep this) short, sweet and to the point: I'm not leaving,'" Glasgow told the site. "He said (the NFL rumors) are 'lies made up by our enemies.'"

While there's nothing more to the rumor than Hey, wouldn't it be cool if.....? that didn't stop people from running with it on Monday. The simple possibility made it the top trending topic in America yesterday.

"He said he's staying here, he ain't going nowhere," offensive lineman Erik Magnuson said. "A lot of it, unfortunately, is just distractions caused by -- some of it's by other teams. And it hurts in recruiting, I think. If they're saying 'Jim Harbaugh's going to the NFL' some recruits will think there's no stability in the coaching job at Michigan.

"A lot of it is created for a distraction (for) recruiting. I can't see him going anywhere, this is where he wants to be."
