Last night the Atlanta Journal Constitution released a piece with the latest renderings of Atlanta's new football stadium, due to be finished by the 2017 season.
While the oragami-esque opening of the top of the stadium may be a little over the top (mostly because it reminds me of these from my childhood), You do have to love the scrolling video board at the top opening of the stadium. That's certainly unique.
The majority of the fan base seems to be behind the futuristic design elements of the new stadium that should put them up there with "Jerry's World" in Arlington, while others find it a bit too "out there" for their tastes. Either way, Twitter users had some fun with the release of the latest renderings, and you can see a few of them at the bottom of the article..
