Brady Hoke has been let go at Michigan (Featured)

After an adversity filled 2014 season, Michigan has made the decision to part ways with Brady Hoke, per local reporter Sam Webb.

A press conference has been called at 4:30 to address the decision, according to multiple reports.

Back in late October, athletic director Dave Brandon resigned from his post, so interim AD Jim Hackett was forced to make the call.

Hoke went 31-20 during his four seasons in Ann Arbor, including an 18-14 mark in Big Ten play and was never able to match the success of his 11-2 debut season where the Wolverines played in a BCS bowl, beating Virginia Tech 23-20.

Hoke went 5-7 this season, including losses Notre Dame, Utah, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Michigan State, with back to back losses to Maryland and Ohio State to end the season.

Against Michigan's rivals, Hoke compiled records of 1-3 against Ohio State, 1-3 against Michigan State, and 2-2 against Notre Dame.

This morning Scott did an update on the search for Hoke's successor. Check that out here.

With the move Michigan joins Florida, Nebraska, Kansas, Tulsa and UNLV among FBS schools with head coaching openings.
