Birmingham Stallions (USFL): Former UAB assistant Daric Riley has joined the Stallions' staff sources tell FootballScoop. Riley coached corners at UAB this past season and has coached outside backers, safeties and special teams over the past decade at UAB, Old Dominion, ECU and SMU. 

Lane College (D-II): Tommie Lewis Jr will be the new defensive coordinator at Lane College

Maryville (D-III): Former University of West Florida (D-II) record-setting linebacker Andre Duncombe Jr. has been hired as secondary coach.

Ole Miss: Kody Schexnayder is joining the Ole Miss staff as a special teams analyst. Schexnayder previously served in the same capacity at Arkansas State, and had accepted the same role at Oregon State back in mid-February.

West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II): Former Albany State (D-II - GA) and The Apprentice School (D-III - WV) offensive coordinator Charlie Skalaski is the team's new offensive coordinator, per sources.

Manchester (D-III - IN): Manchester University has two open positions - a coordinator role, and a position coach/strength coach. Side of the ball does not matter; they are looking for best fit. Both positions are full time, salaried and benefited positions. Interested applicants can apply via the HR website or reach out to Head Coach Vann Hunt at vahunt@manchester.edu.

West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II): The wide receivers job has been filled. Thanks for the overwhelming interest in the opening.

Virginia-Lynchburg (NCCAA): Virginia University of Lynchburg is seeking a quarterbacks coach. Position includes a stipend and housing (if needed). Responsibilities include certain aspects of the football program. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Campbellsville (NAIA - KY): Former record-setting quarterback Jacob Russell has returned to his alma mater as the new head coach of the Fighting Tigers.

Amherst (D-III - MA): Amherst College is currently accepting applications for a defensive assistant coach. Experience coaching defensive line or defensive backs is preferred. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, however there are no benefits. Candidates should have a strong background in DVSport, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, JustPlay, Photoshop & Canva. Interested candidates must complete application using this link. Northwestern: ECU running backs coach Chris Foster is being hired to the same role at Northwestern, per multiple reports. He has previous stops at Georgia Southern and Appalachian State.

Hampton (FCS - VA): Hampton University is seeking an offensive line coach. Preferred applicants should have three (3) years of experience coaching the offensive line at the collegiate level, running their own position group, and being responsible for a recruiting area. Seattle Seahawks: Per source, Donovan Jackson has left his position as pro scout for the Vikings and accepted an offensive assistant position for the Seahawks working with the offensive line.

Temple: Sources tell FootballScoop Everett Withers is headed back to Temple where he will become defensive coordinator. Withers had joined Tom Herman's staff at FAU as assistant head coach / defensive pass game coordinator in late December after serving in a chief of staff type role for the 2022 season with Stan Drayton at Temple. 

Washington and Lee (D-III - VA): Washington & Lee University is looking to hire a full-time position coach (offensive experience preferred-RBs). Duties include: Coaching a position group and administrative duties such as coordinating/planning practices, video analysis and instruction; Maintaining a recruiting area: Assist in coordination and execution of team travel; Teaching in our required physical education program. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required and collegiate playing/coaching experience is preferred. The salary range is between 30,000-40,000 with benefits, housing assistance, and a ten percent retirement match.
