New Mexico: Sources tell FootballScoop Nick Howell is leaving Vanderbilt to join Bronco Mendenhall's staff. Howell served as Clark Lea's defensive coordinator this past season. 

Indiana: Curt Cignetti has signed a 6-year contract worth $27 million in total, per the Indianapolis Star. The Star notes Cignetti's contract is heavily incentivized. More to come on this... 

Rutgers: Greg Schiano has agreed to a contract extension through the 2030 season, with a pay bump that will increase his salary to $6.25 million next fall. Schiano led the Scarlet Knights to a 6-6 record in year four of his return to Rutgers.

UVA Wise (D-II): Quincy (D-II - IL) head coach Gary Bass has resigned after six seasons and has accepted the head coaching job with UVA Wise. Prior to being elevated to head coach, Bass spent five seasons as offensive coordinator at Quincy. Defensive coordinator Michael Pannone has been named the interim head coach while a national search takes place.

Wake Forest: Wake Forest University has an opening for an offensive analyst position working with our receiver coach. The job is designed to potentially lead into an offensive GA working with the receivers. Boise State: Yesterday Spencer Danielson shared that he expects to retain much of the staff, and today Pat Forde shares that offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan is among the coaches expected to return.

Ohio Northern (D-III): Rose Hulman (D-III - IN) offensive coordinator Andy Fries has been announced as the program's new head coach. Fries is just the fourth head coach in nearly four decades for the school.

Northern Arizona (FCS): Former Angelo State (D-II - TX) defensive coordinator Adam Clark is the new defensive coordinator at NAU. Clark also held the assistant head coach title at Angelo State, where he spent five seasons.

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): First-year head coach has formally announced the retention of two coaches, and the addition of four assistants coming with him from Belhaven (D-III - MS). The four coaches coming from Belhaven and their roles are Matt Conner (DC), Justin Williamson (STC / LBs), Carson Stewart (WRs) and Maurice Stewart (RBs). Chris Gistorb (DL) and Perry Carter (CBs) are being retained from the previous staff.

William Woods (NAIA - MO): William Woods University is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Offensive Coordinator. The Offensive Coordinator is responsible for promoting William Woods Athletics through the academic, on-field and off-field development of the football program and specific position group. Wroclaw Panthers (Poland): College coaching veteran Craig Kuligowski has accepted the defensive coordinator job. Kuligowski has previous coaching stops at Toledo, Alabama, Miami and Missouri.

Tennessee Tech (FCS): New head coach Bobby Wilder has retained defensive coordinator Adam Braithwaite (DC), Brandon Blackmon (CBs) and Sam Williamson (DL). Also, Jimmy Laughlin, a former defensive standout with the program, has joined the staff as director of football operations.

William Woods (NAIA - MO): William Woods University is seeking 2 Graduate Assistants to start in January 2024. Position best fit Offense/Defense. Sierra (JC - CA): Sierra College is looking to hire a Running Backs coach. Duties include: coaching the position group (including running your own meeting room), film breakdown, gameplan assistance to the OC, and recruiting. Position includes a $3,500 stipend but no housing or meals. Sierra College is located 20 minutes north of Sacramento in Northern California. Great opportunity for a coach trying to break into the college ranks, multiple previous assistants now coaching at Division 1 level. Applicant must have either a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 2 years of experience to qualify for stipend. Worcester State (D-III - MA): Worcester State is seeking an assistant coach to work with the defense (position flexible based on experience).
