Alabama: After Bob Bowman won a national title on Saturday and took another college job on Monday, we wonder how might've Alabama's pursuit of Kalen DeBoer differed if Washington had beaten Michigan.
Lake Forest College (D-III - IL): Lake Forest has announced the hiring of offensive line coach Mark Sanchez (formerly of SUNY Brockport and most recently at Nova Southeastern University High School) and quarterback coach Stephen Bourbon- formerly of Roosevelt University (NAIA) to their coaching staff.

Milikin (D-III - IL): Joan Catanese has been hired as the Tight ends coach at Millikin (DIII). She was previously the Assistant Head Coach and Linebackers Coach for the Varsity Football Team at Huntington High School in Shreveport and had a Bill Walsh Fellowship with the Atlanta Falcons.
Carson-Newman (D-II - TN): Carson-Newman is seeking a Week 1 game for 2024. Preferably Thursday September 5th. Contact coach Weiser at eweiser@cn.edu
Bowling Green: Bowling Green State University has an opening for a Special Teams Quality Control position. This is strictly a VOLUNTEER position; there is NO compensation, or benefits, however there will be occasional meals provided. Position duties include but are not limited to: assisting with all aspects of special teams organization, scout team, weekly data input, weekly analytics, and scouting reports. This position will also have recruiting office responsibilities assigned by the Director of Player Personnel. Ideal candidates must have high energy, be self-motivated, and be highly organized. MUST be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer skills. Previous experience coaching or playing special teams is preferred. The expected start date is May 29. Marian (NAIA - IN): Former Notre Dame College tight ends / special teams coordinator Mack Coleman has joined the staff at Marian coaching tight ends and working with other offensive skill players.
Ole Miss: Mike Williams has joined the Ole Miss staff in personnel. This is a fascinating hire for Lane Kiffin.
Cumberland University (NAIA - TN): Cumberland in Lebanon, TN seeks full-time defensive line coach. This is a Full time position w/ benefits. Duties include leading the defensive line, recruiting, & others assigned by the head coach. Candidates will have at least 3 years previous coaching/recruiting experience. Bachelor's degree required. Minnesota: The Vikings have suspended offensive coordinator Wes Phillips three weeks (beginning today) without pay "following legal resolution of a 2023 traffic stop in Minneapolis." Phillips was pulled over in December, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence. In February he plead guilty to a lesser charge of careless driving.
