Southwest Oklahoma State (D-II): Hakim Gray, a former Arkansas Tech (D-II) graduate assistant, has accepted the defensive line job.

Florida State: Following their best season since 2016, Florida State dished raises and extensions to a number of Mike Norvell's assistants

Philadelphia Eagles: Jeff McLane tweets that the Eagles interviewed one external candidate for their offensive coordinator vacancy, and that was Iowa State offensive coordinator Nate Scheelhaase.

Indianapolis Colts: Receivers coach Reggie Wayne will be back in the same role under Shane Steichen. 2023 will mark his second season as the team's receivers coach.

Riverside City College (CC - CA): Riverside has an immediate stipend position open for a defensive coach, defensive line coach preferred.  Seeking a well qualified coach with significant experience coaching in competitive levels.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach excellent technique and fundamentals, manage a position group, have a strong recruiting background with experience recruiting the inland empire, possess the ability to support diverse groups and make a year round commitment to executing seasonal responsibilities related to a state contending team.  This is a stipend position with possible future adjunct teaching. Interested applicants should email a professional resume’ and reference page to Defensive Coordinator, James Kuk at James.Kuk@rcc.edu

Philadelphia Eagles: With the promotion of Brian Johnson to offensive coordinator now official, assistant quarterbacks coach Alex Tanney has been promtoed to quarterbacks coach. Also, TJ Paganetti will serve as run game specialist and assistant tight ends coach and former Colts offensive coordinator Marcus Brady will have the role of senior offensive assistant.

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Arkansas Tech University is seeking applicants for a defensive backs GA. Secondary playing/coaching experience is preferred but not required. Compensation includes $800/Mo for 11 months and 6 hours of tuition per semester. Position includes but is not limited to: Assisting in Coaching & Recruiting the defensive backs, video editing, academic monitoring, maintaining a recruiting area, equipment, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Pete Thamel tweets that head coach Scotty Walden has agreed to an extension that will add a year to his deal, taking him through the 2025 season and raises his salary to $300k with a significant bump to the assistant salary pool.

Mercyhurst (D-II - PA): Mercyhurst University is accepting applications for a restricted earnings/quality control coaching position. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all facets of the program, including coaching a position, recruiting prospective student-athletes, organization and planning of all practices, game preparation, film breakdown, and monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous coaching experience with the LB’s or DB’s is preferred. Compensation is $12,000 Stipend with some meals included but no benefits or housing. San Francisco 49ers: John Lynch confirmed that Brian Griese, who previously spent 13 seasons as a TV analyst, will be back to coach the team's quarterbacks next season.

Cincinnati: South Alabama defensive graduate assistant Malik Davis has accepted a graduate assistant job working with the outside linebackers.

John Melvin (NAIA - LA): John Melvin University is looking for a motivated offensive coach to work with the offensive line. The ideal candidate would be proficient in film breakdown, and computer systems relating to football. The position will assist the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator with the Offense, playbook, opponent scouting reports, depth charts, daily practice plans, and player evaluations. Applicants should have one or more years of related experience coaching and/or working with football at the high school, college and/or professional levels. Charleston Southern (FCS): Per source, Gabe Giardina has finalized his initial staff as follows: Adam Hollifield (OC / OL), Shuler Bentley (QBs), Vince Giardina (WRs), Tyler Bell (RBs), Caleb Muxlow (offensive GA / TEs), Dillon Sharp (offensive GA / QBs), Nick Reveiz (DC), Maurice Duncan (secondary), Zack Johnson (LBs), Mike Welch (DL), and Jalen Bush (defensive GA / corners).

Philadelphia Eagles: Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll shared today with reporters that his assistant head coach - defense, Sean Desai, is in fact leaving for the Eagles defensive coordinator job.

Texas Southern (FCS): Texas Southern University has a restricted earnings defensive back position available.This is a 12 month position. Update> This position has been filled since this posting. 

Oregon: The program has announced the additions of Mike Cavanaugh as offensive line coach and also Brian Michalowski, who will assist with the inside linebackers. Michalowski served in a quality control role last season.

Millsaps (D-III - MS): Millsaps College seeks applicants for a full-time quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator. Responsibilities include running position meetings, assisting with game planning, film breakdown and data entry, covering your own recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. This is a 12-month, full-time position with benefits. This position would have an immediate start date. LSU: To fill the role vacated by Brian Polian, Brian Kelly has promoted one of his former defensive coordinators and hired another

Central Michigan: The program has announced the additions of former Tulsa defensive line coach Jesse Williams to the same role at CMU, Limestone (D-II - SC) offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Jake Kostner as the new quarterbacks coach, and Howard (FCS) offensive line coach Brandon Torrey as the new tight ends / tackles coach. Offensive coordinator Paul Petrino has moved from quarterbacks to receivers, offensive line coach Tavita Thompson has added the title of pass game coordinator, general manager Ryan McNamara has been moved to an on-field role as linebackers coach, and defensive backs coach Michael Zordich has been promoted to assistant head coach. Also, director of recruiting Chris Calley will now serve as director of player personnel, and the program has added Da'Quaun Jamison as a defensive graduate assistant and former Albion (D-III - MI) four-year starting quarterback and Northwestern volunteer offensive quality control coach Jack Bush as an offensive graduate assistant.

Washington Commanders: The organization has announced a number of changes to the staff. Stanford quarterbacks coach and former offensive coordinator Tavita Pritchard has been formally announced as quarterbacks coach while Ken Zampese will move from quarterbacks coach to senior offensive advisor / game management. Also, Brent Vieselmeyer has been promoted to defensive backs coach and Richard Rodgers has been promoted to senior defensive assistant / safeties and Cristian Garcia has been promoted to assistant defensive backs / nickels coach.

Morehead State (FCS - KY): Morehead State is accepting applications for an entry level offensive position coach (RB). Position includes coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties assigned by the HFC. Compensation for the position is $10K, plus housing. Review of resumes will begin immediately. St. Norbert (D-III - WI): St. Norbert College, located in the Green Bay suburb of De Pere, seeks a wide receivers coach. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching WR's, but will hire the best overall candidate. These positions will be responsible for coaching their own position; running meetings; assisting in game planning, film analysis and breakdown (HUDL), recruiting; and other duties assigned by Head Coach and Off. Ottawa (NAIA - KS): Ottawa University is seeking to fill graduate assistant positions on and off the field. One job will include free tuition, $5,280.08 yearly stipend, and 100 Block Meal Plan & $100 Dining Dollars for Fall & Spring Semesters. Chicago Bears: Former Titans tight ends coach Luke Steckel has been named assistant offensive line coach.

Detroit Lions: Penn State defensive line coach / run game coordinator John Scott Jr. is leaving for a spot on the Lions staff, per multiple reports.

Buffalo Bills: Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier has decided to take a year off from coaching in 2023 and plans to return to coaching in 2024, but there is no certainty that he returns to Buffalo.

Philadelphia Eagles: As widely expected, quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson is being promoted to offensive coordinator, Adam Schefter tweets.

North Dakota (FCS): Safeties coach Joel Schwenzfeier has been elevated to defensive coordinator. Schwenzfeier enters his 10th season on staff this fall and has also worked with the team's outside linebackers.

Marshall: Joe Carter Jr. has joined the staff as manager of football operations. He spent last season as a graduate assistant at Arkansas working in student athlete development.

Galgos de Tijuana (Mexico): Armando Varela is the new running backs coach. He was previously running backs coach at Southwestern College (NAIA - KS).

Minnesota Vikings: Colorado defensive tackles coach Patrick Hill is expected to get hired as the team's assistant defensive line coach, Matt Zenitz tweets.

Army: Per source, Army is hiring Army Prep head coach Juice Weaver as their new inside linebackers coach. Juice was the defensive coordinator at the prep school from 2019-21 and previously on the Army staff for the 2017-18 seasons.

Denver Broncos: Northwestern running backs coach Lou Ayeni is reportedly being hired to coach the running backs.

Averett (D-III - VA): Averett University Football is currently seeking a Defensive Coordinator. Minimum qualifications include Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching, playing, and/or teaching experience. The successful candidate should be prepared for an immediate start date. American International (D-II - MA): American International College is seeking to hire two part-time assistant football coaches (DL and DBs). The positions will work 10 – 15 hours per week from August through May and performed duties will include on-field teaching and player development, assisting the head coach with practice planning, game strategy, and game management, recruiting, monitoring the student-athletes’ academic progress, and other duties as assigned. Stanford: Stanford is reportedly set to lose a one-man institution to an NFL job.

Lycoming (D-III - PA): Lycoming College is accepting applications for a part-time entry level coaching position. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all facets of the program, including coaching a position, recruiting prospective student-athletes, organization and planning of all practices, game preparation, film breakdown, and monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous participation and/or coaching experience with the DL/ LB’s or DB’s is preferred. This position is for 1450 hours annually and will pay an hourly rate. Sam Houston (TX): Sam Houston Football is seeking candidates for a full-time Video Coordinator. This position will be responsible for handling all coaches video needs including, but not limited to film upload, intercut, exchange, and managing student filmer staff and all video equipment. Candidates need to be proficient and experienced with at least one of Hudl/DVSport/Catapult. Experience with creative video and social media content preferred, but not required.
