Broyles Award: Former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden won the Broyles Award on Thursday, putting the Fighting Irish in elite company of coaching talent.
Auburn: Georgia Southern GM Ryan Smith, who has worked on The Plains twice before, is set to return to Auburn as director of player personnel, per CBS Sports.
Miami: Mario Crisbotal is in the process of swiping a key assistant away from an in-state rival.
Western Michigan: Elon receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Kyle Perkins has accepted the receivers job.
Cortland (D-III - NY): Tom Blumenauer, the head coach at Franklin & Marshall (D-III - PA) where he has gone 21-11 over the past three seasons with one of the best defenses Division III, has accepted the head coaching job with the Red Dragons. He takes over a program that won their first national title in 2023 and followed that up with a 11-1 mark last season.
Charlotte: UIndy (D-II - IN) corners coach Tariq Drake has accepted a defensive analyst position.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander has completed his GM interview with the team.
Marist (FCS - NY): Tight ends coach John O'Connor has been promoted to offensive line coach.
Temple: Anthony Getz Jr. has accepted the director of football creative job with the Owls.
New Orleans Saints: Former Cowboys assistant Chase Haslett, the son of former Saints head coach Jim Haslett, has agreed to become the new tight ends coach on Kellen Moore's staff, per Mike Garafolo.
Auburn: Sources tell FootballScoop the Tigers are bringing back a former team captain to help coach the offensive line.
William & Mary (FCS - VA): Bryan Randall, the former three-year starter at Virginia Tech who spent the past 11 seasons in professional football including stops with the Falcons, Bucs and Steelers as well as MVP seasons starring for Indoor League teams, has accepted the quarterbacks job on staff.
New Orleans Saints: New head coach Kellen Moore confirmed that he will handle the offensive play calling duties in 2025.
Atlanta Falcons: Assistant quarterbacks coach DJ Williams has been elevated to quarterbacks coach following the promotion of TJ Yates to passing game coordinator.
New York Giants: Troy Brown is joining the staff as an offensive assistant as part of the NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship program.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Titans GM Jon Robinson has completed his interview for the GM post.
East Tennessee State (FCS): Director of player personnel Isaac Vance will be the team's receivers coach.
Colorado State: ESPN shares Weber State (FCS - UT) linebacker coach Matty Ah You is set to become the new nickels coach and recently hired Colorado Mesa (D-II) defensive coordinator Trent Matthews will be the run game coordinator.
Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): As we shared previously, the addition of former Kennesaw State offensive line coach Cameron Norcross is now official as offensive line coach for the program.
Virginia Tech: Sources tell FootballScoop Christian Taylor, the former William & Mary (FCS - VA) offensive coordinator who spent last fall on the defensive side of the ball for the Bills, is among the finalists for the Hokies offensive coordinator vacancy.
Rutgers: David Rowe, a former multi-year starter in the secondary at Rutgers who has coached defensive backs at Central Michigan, Valdosta State (D-II - GA), and Houston, is being promoted from assistant corners coach to corners coach, per ESPN. He replaces Greg Orphey, who left to join the staff at Texas.
New Hampshire (FCS): Per source, former West Virginia defensive line graduate assistant Jaysen Thompson has been hired as the defensive line coach.
Maine (FCS): James O'Hagan has joined the Black Bears as offensive line coach / run game coordinator. O'Hagan brings coaching experience as the offensive line coach at Long Island University (FCS), and graduate assistant stints at FAU and Buffalo.
Central Oklahoma (D-II): Per source, former Minnesota State-Mankato (D-II) quarterback Hayden Ekern is set to join the staff as its new running backs and Emporia State (D-II - KS) assistant defensive backs coach Devin Johnston will be the corners coach.
Penn State: Sources tell FootballScoop former Temple head coach Stan Drayton has emerged as the top target for the Nittany Lions running backs job.
Benedictine (NAIA - KS): Trevor Strong has left Southwestern College (NAIA - KS) to become the new defensive coordinator on Joel Osborn's staff.
Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX): Per source, SFA has hired Josh Atkinson to coach the receivers. He comes to SFA from CSU-Pueblo (D-II), where he had tremendous success the last two years including coaching a Harlon Hill finalist. He also previously served on staff at Midwestern State (D-II -TX) and was a graduate assistant at Baylor.
New Orleans: New Saints head coach Kellen Moore was asked today about the possibility of hiring his brother, Missouri offensive coordinator Kirby Moore. Kellen's response was along the lines of, "That would be fun one day. He's done a great job at Missouri. Next question (please)..."
Detroit Lions: Albert Breer notes that assistant head coach Scottie Montgomery, who worked with the running backs the past few seasons, will transition to coaching the wide receivers this year.

Detroit Lions: Tyler Roehl's role with the team will be tight ends coach, Adam Rittenberg shares. Roehl spent last season coaching the running backs at Iowa State during the best season in Cyclone history.
Washington: ESPN shares Mike Brewster, a former Ohio State captain with coaching stops at Tennessee State, Valparaiso (FCS - IN) and Cincinnati, is joining the staff as assistant offensive line coach and former NFL quarterback JP Losman will be the new assistant quarterbacks coach on staff. Both Losman and Brewster played for Fisch at one point in the NFL, JP with the Seahawks and Brewster with the Jaguars.
Cal: Arizona State senior assistant for player personnel Nick So'oto is expected to join the personnel and recruiting staff, per CBS Sports. So'oto previously spent time on staffs at Fresno State and Army.
USC: Max Stienecker has now been announced as executive director of player personnel, as we shared earlier this month.
Seattle Seahawks: Former Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten, who spent the past two seasons on staff with the Titans, is joining the staff as run game specialist, NFL Network shares.
Detroit Lions: Dan Campbell is hiring star Texas running backs coach Tashard Choice to his staff.
Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel University is looking for a week 0 (8/30),week 1(9/6) or week 4 (9/27) game for 2025. Could be a home and home, if interested contact at springerc@bethelu.edu
Washington: Cal assistant director of player personnel Marcus Griffin is set to joint he staff as director of recruiting, CBS Sports shares.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Brandon Brown, the assistant GM for the NY Giants, has completed his interview for the GM job.

Incarnate Word (FCS - LA): Ryan Allgood, the former assistant head coach / offensive line coach at McNeese State (FCS - LA) has been hired as tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator at Incarnate Word.
West Florida (D-II): University of West Florida Football is looking for applicants for one Offensive Graduate Assistant Position working with the RB/TE Position Group. This is a GA position with the ability to work on a Master's Degree. Interested candidates should email westfloridafootball@gmail.com.
Nebraska: Nebraska has set salaries for Matt Rhule's enormous coaching staff head into the 2025 season.
New Orleans Saints: The team has requested to interview Vikings pass game coordinator / defensive backs coach Daronte Jones for their defensive coordinator job, per ESPN.
Atlanta Falcons: Quarterbacks coach TJ Yates has been promoted to pass game coordinator, Jonathan Jones shares.
Rhodes (D-III - TN): Matt Ellis, a 2017 graduate of Rhodes, is has returned to his alma mater as defensive coordinator. Ellis most recently worked as a defensive and special teams assistant at Rice, where he worked closely with the linebackers. He also has previous stops at UW-Oshkosh (D-III), Benedictine (D-III - IL), and Millikin (D-III - IL).
Kansas State: Tight ends coach Brian Lepak is moving to offensive line coach, ESPN shares. Lepak has been with the program since 2021, starting in a quality control role before earning a promotion to tight ends coach after a year and has previously been a graduate assistant at both Oklahoma and Indiana.
UAB: Sources tell FootballScoop Trent Dilfer is bolstering his UAB staff with hires of three sons from prominent college football families.

Tabor (NAIA - KS): Tabor College is looking for applicants for a Graduate Assistant Position. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and meet the requirements for admission to Tabor’s Graduate School. Tabor College is a Christian organization and requires all potential employees to communicate a clear commitment to being a follower of Jesus. You will be responsible for working with the head coach in all aspects of developing a competitive NAIA program with some assignments for athletic administration. Benefits include $3,500 stipend, tuition, books and fee waiver, one meal per day Monday through Friday. Living expenses are the responsibility of the successful candidate. Texas: Rutgers' corners coach Mark Orphey is expected to join the Texas staff to fill the spot of former safeties coach Blake Gideon per Anwar Richardson.
Cornell (D-III - IA): After five seasons leading the program, head coach Dan Pifer will not return. Pifer led the program to a 5-5 finish this past fall, and he was 18-22 in five seasons. Defensive coordinator Mike Juscik will step in as interim head coach and a national search will begin immediately.
Colgate (FCS - NY): Offensive line coach Brendan Walsh is not being retained on the new staff.
Houston Christian (FCS): Tight ends coach Nick Franey is taking over the offensive line, per source.
Kansas City Chiefs: Matt House, the former LSU and Kentucky defensive coordinator who spent last season coaching the linebackers for the Jaguars, is returning to Kansas City as a senior defensive assistant, per CBS Sports. House previously coached in KC from 2019-21, coaching the linebackers.
Las Vegas Raiders: The Athletic shares Incarnate Word (FCS - TX) offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Conner McQueen is expected to become the assistant receivers coach in Vegas.
Miami (OH): Per source, Coady Keller has been elevated from Director of Player Personnel to General Manager.
Illinois State (FCS): Former Casa Grande (AZ) head coach Jake Barro has accepted a defensive analyst role with the program, per Eric Sorenson.
Kansas City Chiefs: Per CBS Sports, Jackson State (FCS - MS) linebackers coach and former Wisconsin All Big Ten linebacker Chris Orr is expected to join the team.
Western Colorado (D-II): Western Colorado is looking to schedule a home/home in week 1 in 2026 (Sept. 5th) & and corresponding date in 2027 (Sept. 4th). If interested, please contact Head Football Coach Jas Bains at jbains@western.edu.
UAB: After a few seasons in East Lansing on the support staff at Michigan State, as Carsen Kapilovic has been hired as scouting and recruiting coordinator / assistant director of player personnel for the Blazers.
Baltimore Ravens: Chiefs safeties coach Donald D'Alesio is expected to join the staff after four seasons in Kansas City, per multiple reports.
Davenport (D-II - MI): Davenport University is looking to hire a defensive line coach. This is a full-time position with benefits. Defensive line coaching experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. All interested candidates send resume to smcewen@davenport.edu. No phone calls please.
Arizona Cardinals: The franchise has announced the hires of Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye (OL), Minnesota defensive line coach Winston DeLattiboudere III (DL), Cowboys assistant defensive backs coach Cristian Garcia (LBs), Raiders assistant defensive backs coach Matt Feeney (OLBs), and ULM inside linebackers coach Alec Osborne (defensive QC) as well as the promotion of assistant quarterbacks coach Connor Senger to pass game specialist and Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship participant Blaine Gautier to offensive quality control coach.

Western New England (D-III - MA): WNE has an opening on staff with an anticipated summer start date. The position is a Defensive Assistant with the potential to add a special teams coordinator title as well based on experience. The position will be a part-time, restricted earnings position. Sul Ross State (D-II - TX): A high school assistant with a ton of experience in Texas is being tabbed as the new head coach.
Ohio State: Matt Patricia is being hired as defensive coordinator at Ohio State ESPN now confirms. More to come on this hire and some related adjustments within the staff.
Northwestern State (FCS - LA): In making three hires on Wednesday, Northwestern State will have a "full allotment" of coaches for the first time since joining FCS decades ago.
Dean College (D-III - MA): Dean College Football is currently seeking a full-time coach on the offensive side of the ball. This is a 12 month, salary/benefited jobs. All Positions will be considered, looking for best fit. For the right candidate, Recruiting Coordinator possible. Minimum qualifications include Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching, playing, and/or teaching experience. Duties include: coaching your own room, recruiting a designated area, film breakdown, assist coordinator with game plans and practice plans, and anything else assigned by the Head Coach.
