Coach of the Year Nominations: It's that time of year, and we are now accepting nominations for our Coach of the Year awards. As a reminder, we honor FBS coordinators and assistant coaches and offensive and defensive coaches at the FCS, D-II, D-III and NAIA levels. Charlotte: Ohio head coach Tim Albin is set to become the next head coach at Charlotte, per report.
Oklahoma State: The school has announced that they have agreed to a new contract with Mike Gundy and note that it benefits "Oklahoma State University, OSU student-athletes, and Cowboy Football." Details will be announced once the contract is officially signed.
Appalachian State: South Carolina's Dowell Loggains has been announced as the Mountaineers new head coach.
UCF: FootballScoop can confirm that Scott Frost is expected to return to lead the Knights.
Appalachian State: South Carolina offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains has emerged as the target for the opening at App State, per Pete Thamel. The report adds that a deal is not finalized, but is expected to come together soon.

Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Source tells FootballScoop Florida State staffer is set to return to Louisiana to be the new offensive coordinator for Nicholls.
Kansas: Quarterbacks coach / co-offensive coordinator Jim Zebrowski, who has been with Lance Leipold since their time together at Wisconsin-Whitewater (D-III), has been elevated to offensive coordinator. The move comes after Jeff Grimes left to become the new offensive coordinator at Wisconsin.
Oklahoma State: After a standoff with administration, Mike Gundy is set to return for a 21st season.
Utah State: Bronco Mendenhall is hiring San Jose State receivers coach / pass game coordinator Kevin McGiven as the team's new offensive coordinator, per Pete Thamel. Co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Cooper Bassett is not being retained.
FIU: The Panthers are reportedly set to hire an ACC assistant who has successful FCS head coaching experience in The Sunshine State.
Florida State: Former Nebraska assistant Evan Cooper, who resigned from his post back in July, has reunited with new defensive coordinator Tony White as the Seminoles new safeties coach.
Mike Gundy: ESPN's Max Olson shares this morning that talks between Gundy and Oklahoma state continued last night and "there's growing optimism an agreement on a restructured deal could be reached."
FAU: New head coach Zach Kittley notes that he would like to have a defensive coordinator on board in the next day or so, and notes that there is "absolutely a possibility for some guys" currently on staff to be retained, particularly on defense.
Garden City CC (JC - KS): Per source offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Zach Sallee has resign to pursue other opportunities.
Florida State: Co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Randy Shannon is not expected to be part of the Seminoles staff moving forward, according to multiple reports.
FAU: Tyler Schovanec, Texas Tech's lead special teams assistant, has joined the Owls as special teams coordinator, and Texas Tech offensive graduate assistant Trent Vasey has joined the staff as assistant quarterbacks coach.

Thiel College (D-III - PA): Thiel College located in Greenville, PA has an opening for an assistant coach. Candidates will be responsible for running a position group and will be given their own recruiting areas. Compensation will include a $10k Stipend, Housing and Meals.
